"past weekends we were in the restaurant saffron too hospitable. we were very nicely received and the ambiente, which reminds little of kitschige Indian restaurants, immediately impressed. a very relaxed atmosphere that invites you to stay. this is also necessary, because despite the early time of the clock and the very manageable restaurants we waited an hour for the tour. also the drinks allowed to wait unusually long, which also remained the rest of the visit. Unfortunately, the services were quite inattentive in terms of the level of drink, one had to try to reorder himself, to ask for questions one hoped in vain.The appetizer (mixed appetizer plate) was very manageable with 6 baked elements and quite unloved. the main dishes were mixed: the grill plate was very tasty and plentiful. the vegetarian court resembled more a supplement and was disappointingly little, but tastefully very good.Maybe we didn't catch such a great day; unfortunately I went rather hungry than tired and yet somewhat disappointed after home. but because it was very good and nice from the ambiente, I can still give 3 points."

Wir lieben Indische Küche und deswegen als wir in Heidelberg waren, haben wir uns (zum Glück) für dieses Restaurant entschieden. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch bei der Gerichtswahl gut beraten. Das essen ist ausgezeichnet gewürzt und hergerichtet. Klare Empfehlung!

After watching the outside menu and finding the prices, it seemed good to be above the average. extremely small portions and tiny pieces of lamb when you find them cold. burnt papad, they were 2,50 euro for a tasteless rice. ... samosas made them really bland. all in all an extremely disappointing time, only to be calculated from above by twice for my main meal. fortunately, this was discovered by me! never again. stay clear and look for an alternative restaurant

We came here regularly because it's the best indian restaurant we have ever been to. They offer the best indian food we have ever known. The service and the ambiente is fantastic! It is so sad that we had to leave Heidelberg and go back to our ordinary lives...I can only recommend this restaurant. Our favourite menu is a mixed entrée, chicken tikka masala and gulab jaman for desert, but chicken korma and chicken tikka (tandoori oven) also taste very very nice and are well worth a try!You shouldn't miss this opportunity for a wonderful and romantic dinner. It's an insider tip from the bottom of my heart :)
