"When you're out for a nice evening the last thing you want to do is send food back and make a fuss. It sort of spoils the evening and atmosphere. Sadly this was one of those occasions. A caesar salad had to be sent back...because it was absolutely drenched in salt, stinging the mouth and actually inedible. They promised to replace. It then took half an hour for it to reappear. By which time we'd lost the will and the appetite. On its reappearance the food was clearly exactly the same with the salt brushed off it. The initial mistake was very bad, but then to try and get round it in such a lazy way was unforgivable."

Lovely setting and live music just added to a relaxing evening. We both had steaks cooked to our liking and then dessert which we both enjoyed. First time visiting and will definitely be back.

of us had a Sunday Roast to celebrate a Family members Birthday Lunch tasted really nice but was only Luke warm when it arrived on the table We thought the service was slow on the day we were there Grandchildren loved the Chocolate Brownies

My family came to Cardiff to visit me for my birthday/Christmas. We booked a table at Culleys in the the Exchange Hotel and it was ace. The food is extraordinary, I can tell a lot time and effort went I to preparing the food....Waiting and bar staff were lovely also! For sure booking a a table again when family visit!

Visited on Sunday February for lunch with a friend .Everything was great .The presentation was excellent and the food was delicious .The staff are very friendly and welcoming .The building itself is beautiful well worth a visit couldn’t fault a thing .We thoroughly enjoyed...our time there we will definitely be back and have recommended to friends /family .Well done to everyone .

Went for Sunday lunch and had excellent food and service during the meal! Sadly when it came to pay, was charged three times over before being refunded several times (meaning I’m out of pocket whilst we await the refund) and no matter how many...times we tried to sort, ended up with ever single member of staff unable to help and stood around looking lost. Real shame as it ruined a lovely meal. Wouldn’t go back.

We had sunday lunch here as part of the hotel cwtch package Myself and my husband said that it was one the best Sunday dinners that we have had! It was great that it came out in a tray and you could just help...yourself from this. Included in the package was courses and a house bottle of wine we felt this was excellent value for money. We hope to return in the future with our children and enjoy another fantastic dinner as a family! The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the service was also to a good standard.

Another stunning meal in Culleys Kitchen Bar. First time for the Sunday platter but definitely not the last! The roast was beautiful the beef melted in your mouth and every aspect was stunning. We had the sharer for four and we couldn't quite...finish it even though we tried our best! My son had the children's menu and said the nuggets were the best he's ever had (huge nugget connoisseur) and they even catered to my awkward two year old and her request for toast and marmite....... The service was wonderful professional yet personable. Thank you to everyone!

Dined here Sunday lunch just gone for my wife's have a beautiful private dinner room just off the resturant as the kids were with us and could just be kids and play, eat etc it was set up and decorated lovely. All the food...we had was fantastic, fresh, hot, well presented plentiful. Compliments to the chefs, the sharing platter roast mains is a brilliant idea. But they do offer other classics too. JAZZ her team were friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble they looked after us as well as a full resturant with smiles on their faces. We will defiantly when ever we can get another Sunday off together.
