"We have just eaten a most satisfying Sunday Lunch, delivered to our door during the Covid 19 Lockdown. A traditional Roast Beef Sunday Lunch, with all the trimmings followed by Bread and Butter Pudding with custard. What a beautiful meal! The roast beef was perfect, with plenty of gravy, a Yorkshire Pudding, boiled potatoes and roasted potatoes, roasted parsnips, broccoli, peas and carrots with plenty of gravy. The Bread and butter pudding with custard brought to an end a truly wonderful meal. What was especially nice was that this was delivered to our door at exactly the time specified and proved a wonderful experience after many weeks of staying at home. Our sincerest thanks to the Valans Restaurant for their excellent service and much appreciated meals. We would most certainly wish to repeat this experience. David and Joy Jones"

"Got a takeaway whilst near Ammanford and we were really happy with it. The food tasted fresh, and of a high quality. For a vegan, the vegetable fried rice with no egg is great as well as the salt and pepper beancurd, vegetable spring rolls...and chips. They catered really well for gluten free and adapted dishes to be suitable for our needs too. The king prawn curry was very nice and a special mention for the vegetable fried rice too. Would definitely recommend if in the area for a takeaway or eat in the restaurant."

"the most beautiful lunch to celebrate our wedding party. the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. beautiful informal atmosphere. the portion size was perfect, which meant that I had a place for one dessert and it was as worth as the lemon meringue roulade was to die! this was our first visit, but we will definitely return. so convenient to just 10 minutes from home. highly recommended try it for themselves they will not be disappointed."

"FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz •••• WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: connected to the Adolphus Hotel in the heart of downtown Dallas, Otto’s has tons of visitors from Dallas and out of town coming in and out as hotel guests. THE VIBE: business casual, black, modern, basically a luxury coffee shop. PRICE: $7 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. •••• Overall Rating: 10/10 I loved my experience at Otto’s coffee. The coffee was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. It was robust but the amaretto flavor was not overpowering. I actually started walking around during my study session and omg it’s so beautiful! I probably wouldn’t go back to study mostly because there was no one working around me and it was more of a sit and chat coffee place. There are SO many places to sit inside of the coffee shop and in the Adolphus hotel itself. Only heads up is you’ll most likely not find street parking and your best bet is to pull into the Adolphus hotel garage and get valet done for $10. Tell them you’re going to Otto’s."

"The person who served us for the first two courses was excellent. Was very professional and caring. We ordered four starters consisting of three dishes, two of which were prawn cocktail, the prawns were chewy not soft and tender. I assume they were overcooked. I ordered medium to well steak for my main course, you could have soled a shoes with it. Our earlier course server came over and apologised but was finishing for the evening but another server would be taking over. OK, we ordered or desserts which included Belgium waffles. When they arrived they were so hard to be almost inedible. And finally, the Facebook infamous toilets didn’t fail to disappoint. Only one cubicle in the Ladies had a lock, the one with the lock, inevitably, was not very clean. In the gents, the single cubicle a) didn’t have a lock and b) had no toilet paper. Other than we had a good night, until the children arrived around 8..30pm then the noise was such that we couldn’t hold a conversation."
