"An impromptu stop for an evening meal on a wet Monday night. I throughly enjoyed my meal and I thought the restaurant/Inn was lovely. Friendly and welcoming staff and really good, tasty and well presented food. I'll definitely be back, when next up in Norfolk. Thank you for fitting me in, I so appreciated it. I've never actually stayed at the hotel as I live in the village. Instead I often come, when I'm off work, to enjoy a relaxing outside garden breakfast with my dog. Staff are 5 stars and Findlay loves them!

We arrived just before 10am for breakfast. I had Kippers and my partner had Eggs Benedict. We also had a pot of tea and toast. The staff were lovely and we were met with a friendly welcome. The fire was going and the whole experience was 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend. Rooms: 5 Service: 5

Lovely pub with older bar area and dining extension to rear. Great decor and segregated area for those diners with dogs. We had the Sunday Roast and one course was easily enough! Superb friendly and professional service (night and day compared to the place we’re in to tonight, the Black Horse at Castle Rising). Food drinks: Excellent and reasonably priced.
