This restaurant was a great find. The food was well prepared and the service was excellent. All of our meals were delicious. Especially the schweine haxen.

Title says it all really. This was our first night in Germany and I was keen to sample an authentic German schnitzel, we didn't need to go far from our central hotel. The ambiance was a little quiet and I was worried when we sat down as there were not many in the restaurant, but the waitress was very friendly and the food superb. My husband ordered the duck, it was quite a festive dish (cinnamon flavors) and we left very pleased.

Hier kocht der Chef und die Chefin sitz an der Rezeption. Die Zimmer die wir besichtigen durften sind allesamt liebevoll und mit antiken Möbeln möbliert, es gibt auch moderne Zimmer mit tollen Badezimmern. Für jeden Geldbeutel was dabei. Uns hat der "echte Gasthof" sehr gefallen, man spürt förmlich die Energie der alten Mauern, die die Geschichte dieser Stadt atmen. Gutbürgerliches Essen, Echte Spätzle wirklich handgemacht (ich weiß dass), Frühstücksbuffet auch sehr liebevoll mit guten Backwaren.

De passage dans la région, nous avons pu apprécier la qualité de l'accueil de l'hôtel avec un personnel vraiment aimable qui fait des efforts sur le français, c'est rare !, ainsi que la cuisine proposée au restaurant qui est excellente notamment les filets de truites pochés accompagnés d'épinard et de riz, le vin peut être servi au verre pour des prix abordables.La chambre est très parieuse cette avec une décoration très typée mais la chambre est d'une propreté remarquable.Ne pas hésiter à vous arrêter si vous êtes dans la région.

Historical house. Very friendly room service that meets all wishes. Menu in restaurant excellent, family suite very large, furniture somewhat antique. Absolutely close to the main attractions. Unfortunately, however, a lady at the reception that reacts very unfriendly to the problem of a light source is not switched off in the dressing. Our recommendation to create this problem from the world: to fasten a simple light switch so that no one needs to sleep in the dark. Breakfast was served at the table due to the coronary conditions, but the sausage plate would have changed something... identical on a daily basis. All very good, but still air up.

wer Rothenburg o.d.T. besuchen möchte, ist hier ganz sicher sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Restaurant ist klein, liegt mitten in Rothenburg - der Weg zum Rathausplatz (Stadtmitte) beträgt ca. 2 Minuten und ist in Sichtweite, ruhige Lage. Sehr persönliche Betreuung - wird familiär geführt seit ca. 150 Jahren. Altes Fachwerkhaus aber sehr gut und sehr gemütlich das ganze Haus. Die Bedieungungen sind sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Nach dem Abendessen ein Tipp ab 21.30 Uhr ab dem Marktplatz die "Nachtwächter-Wanderung" mitmachen, den ich nur jedem empfehlen kann. WLAN vorhanden ............ gerne wieder - DANKE für das tolle Essen und die sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre bei Euch.

Really sweet restaurant, this will summarize what every Bavarian old world should be charm restaurant. Michelin rated with a cute hotel when you are in, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We sat at the time of our reservation and warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is perfect for all tourists who probably eat the majority of people here.
