Best breakfast for miles around,very friendly people,good service,lovely coffee, will certainly be visiting again.

Pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings with reasonably priced, substantial, well-cooked and tasty seasonable food.

My dad and I went to the club yesterday for lunch and a game of pool. We were very impressed! The service was fast and the food was tasty. The bar staff, who were always busy, were very friendly. It's a great spot for people of all ages, whether you're stopping in for brunch or enjoying the evening entertainment. I would definitely recommend it!

What a lovely family friendly club. Went with my two boys to watch the entertainment and it was great. The boys loved going to the bar by themselves to buy sweets and crisps as the bar staff were so friendly. Not many places like this left so they must be doing something right. Visited the club for a 90’s night which in itself was good. The actual problem was the bar. Whilst I can appreciate the bar would be and was busy the running of the bar was a joke. The staff were tripping over each other and annoying people by not actually serving in any kind of waiting order. After waiting for some time to place a large drinks order I was told the card machine wasn’t working. In actual fact the card machine was working, the server just couldn’t be bothered to use it. Terrible service. This is the point that I decided to leave and went for a drink in the spread instead. Quite clearly the club isn’t interested in taking my money, that’s fine. I won’t be returning.

My last review was in April 2019, and now we come to this restaurant for lunch two or three times a week. The staff always greet us with a smile and a warm welcome. The food is served hot and beautifully presented. One person in our group particularly loves the bacon and egg sandwiches here, saying he can't find better cooked lean bacon anywhere else. The cottage pie and lasagna are served piping hot in large glass dishes, supposedly for one but there is enough for two servings. I haven't tried them as I don't eat meat, but I've been told they are very tasty and served with garlic bread, which must be very satisfying. Called in for a 'bite to eat ' Tues 2nd April 2019. Just a note they do not do food on Mondays. The tables now have mats in place and printed menus on the tables. The menu has also been altered. We only wanted a panini or sandwich, but they do hot meals which are nicely cooked and tasty. I had Tuna, Mayo, and tomato panini, 1) had fish finger sandwich and 1) bacon brie panini. The paninis have changed from a baguette type to a panini. (which is pointed out on the menu that it has been changed) It was explained to us that they have done this.
