German food done right! Fresh and delicious, their schnitzel with mushroom sauce is the best I've had. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are very friendly. A perfect place in old Town Frankfurt.

Die Bedienung beachtete uns nach einer Weile. Die Speisen waren befriedigend aber nicht schlecht. Preise eher hoch für die erhaltenen Gerichte. Das Restaurant hat auch vegetarisch einiges zu bieten. Allerdings wurde vergessen die im Nachhinein bestellte Nachspeise, Kaiserschmarrn, zu bringen. Dadurch die nur befriedigende Bewertung.

Wir waren letztes Jahr im Sommer in diesem Lokal und mußten jetzt feststellen, dass die Preise eklatant und meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt erhöht wurden. Schnitzel mit 18,90 klingt ganz gut, aber das ist auch nur das Schnitzel, ohne jede Beilage. Bratkartoffel z.B. kosten glatt € 7,50 zusätzlich. Eine Zwiebelsuppe kostet € 10,90. Salat fehlt gänzlich. Excellent dinner and environment. We had read that reservations were recommended and they certainly are; this is a small and busy restaurant. We went at 7pm on a Friday night and lucked out with two seats at the bar after a short wait. We both ordered the jagerschnitzel and in retrospect I wish one of us had ordered the pork knuckle as well as it looked amazing. The schnitzel and beers were very good. We left full and happy.

wir waren enttäuscht: das Steak war alles andere als medium-sehr roh--viel Fett und sehnig- 1/3 war nicht zu essen, wenig Bratkartoffeln meine Roulade war zäh-nur mit 1 Gurke, dafür mit Fleischbrei gefüllt- Klöße aus Pulver und nicht durch-Salat angerichtet -Dressing aus Flasche geschüttet und darauf noch Salat angerichtet auf tiefen kleinen Teller, sodaß man nicht selber mischen konnte viel schlechter als in den letzten Jahren-werden nicht mehr hingehen

This typical German restaurant is behind the back of the kaiserdom. There are beautiful night views of the cathedral tower illuminated from the street where this place is located. the specialty are fish: cod, tongue, varabel, and the estrogonoff singlemillo, all with one of the many varieties that offer you of beers of the country. the atmosphere is quiet, the price in the environment, and the service very friendly. Outside there are some wooden corridos benches where it is nice to sit in the sun to drink something. Voir le carte
