"I had visited the infamous San Carlo Fumo restaurant in Birmingham. Fumo introduces italian tapas style dishes that are delicious in relation to their main restaurant San Carlo. Located in the centre of Birmingham and only a few minutes from San Carlo, this makes Fumo easily accessible for anybody to find! At first glance, I recall that the interior was W o w. Really elegant and modern, with an overview of the bar area within the dining area. We ordered a few dishes as this was during lunch time. (And cocktails come'on it was a birthday celebration lunch! :p) So this is what we ate: Lobster Risotto: Despite it being a small dish, we hoped that there would be lobster meat in this, however it was really nice rich in lobster flavour. Mixed seafood Calamari: Squid King Prawn Scallops. I loooove Calamari and this was certainly delicious! This was the first time I had tried deep fried Scallops and it's definitely something I would order again. Mixed Seafood Spaghetti: Contains Mussels Prawns Clams Squid and Cherry Tomatoes. This portion size was just right especially for lunch as pasta can be really filling. The creamy sauce that had garlic, butter and a kick of chilli made this dish really flavorsome. Bruschetta with wild mushrooms: Your ordinary Bruschetta dish, plated on a bed of Rocket leaf salad, with wild mushrooms topped with Parmesan cheese. Tasted Lovely, wouldn't say extra ordinary though. Calamari: Deep fried squid. Yep, we loved the mixed calamari soo much that we had ordered another portion of just Squid Calamari. Love the presentation of this. Rice Balls with Meat Ragu: Bet you would've thought that these were meatballs right? Definitely looks it! Take a bite into this and you would find that it has a risotto filling with meat ragu inside. Soo yummy! I loved it. Cocktails: I cannot remember at all what were the names of these! But I do remember that it tasted alot stronger than i had imagined. Nevertheless, tasted really fresh and different! Fumo really does like to showcase their uniqueness in presentation. How cute is that little glass :o). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed Lunch at San Carlo Fumo, the service was great as was the food. With no doubt, we will be back to have dinner one day. I had a birthday lunch at this restaurant during the week. We didn't make a reservation but were welcomed in, and there were plenty of tables available. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent!

absolutely amazing place. so popular, although it is new. fun and interactive staff make the dinge interesting. I loved the little gadget they use to pick up table tennis balls. beautiful place. the bartender was not bad

came with my friends and family to my birthday here. serve has friendly staff who are very friendly and helpful. the music they play is great and it is fun for some table tennis. overall I had a great time and I will return

Great place to visit, the staff are really amazing and listen to you. The food is tasty and ping pong games are a reasonable price. Also the dj played such a good set of songs. It's good place to also chill with your friends. I would defianatly go again : Voir le carte

bar service was relatiw slow for a Friday night, except that this is definitiw a place for the whole family to enjoy! also talked to the owner who is very same and descended on earth! I will come back, yes! ultimately our designated host was amazing for the night! She didn't take her name, but she stopped the drinks.

If you are looking for a fun night out, this is the place to go to. Ping pong and alcohol what more would want? The staff are fantastic and super friendly. The drinks are cheap and you can whoop your friends or other halves in ping pong could you honestly want anything more? If your coming into Birmingham I would 100% recommend popping into here!!

I can't argue the service, decor and the food, but I can't also justify 5 stars. Nothing special about service, food or even decor. Not the wow you might want, but certainly not a total disappointment. Perhaps our standards are just too high, but then again I've been to better. As a stand alone Italian everything we ordered from seabass to scallops were tasty. Perhaps maybe a little too over priced and so you just expect something to jump off your plate at the prices you pay. Voir le carte

fantastic event. the food drinks are great, cheap to praise, are friendly service is brilliant. love how it turns to a party destination at the weekend, so that they ping pong or dance the night away! completely recommended! 10/10 update: the place is now really shape. fantastic works of art on the walls, new drinks topics. clearly a set of thoughts in beverage menu 's it is obvious, as 's kreatiw 'behind the scenes' planning for new ideas to keep the dinge fresh! goes from force to force. keep the team serve!

Came along for my friends bday, didn’t know this place even existed until tonight... We all had a great time, only planned on staying for an hour, 3 hours later we were still there!!! Our new favourite place now! Will defo be back! We were all awful at ping pong, so we were recommended by the smokin hot manager in the red jacket to try beer pong, and we had so much fun!!! The DJ was incredible and the staff were so friendly. The drinks were great, the cocktail happy hour was a little too tempting it’s safe to say! Amazing job Serve, you will be seeing us again soon x x
