"Balmelli is a beautiful, local restaraunt that is 20 minutes from town on the way to Montagnola. It's easy to find and you can easily walk from Town if your adventurous or take a taxi or bus. The outdoor garden is quaint and lovely and...the owner is always very kind to bring complementary bruschetta to start and a lovely Limoncello when you finish. We went twice to this restaraunt as it was weakling distance to our hotel and the Schnitzel was incredible. Best we have had in a long time. The Sea Bass is also exceptional with wonderful local capers. Definitely worth going for the ambiance and food."

Last review we wrote was 2016, the administration changed it time to write a new review. Just really WOW! Food was excellent, service attentive and accurate. Wines are also very good and in our opinion a good offer given the extremely good quality of food. Get up!

Yesterday evening we called for dinner with my wife, we had the most wonderful food. My total lack of French, Italian or German became of and almost comic game of Charaden between me and the waiter, who was very friendly, like the waitress. The food was also excellent, with larger portions than either my wife or I could eat. Everything in a really great evening. We will return before the end of our holiday.
