Ristorante Martinelli

Die Kreativität von Luca in der Küche ist einmalig. Er kocht mit Liebe, wir brauchen nicht nach Italien zu fahren, wir haben Italien in München. Und mit Elena werden wir hervorragend beraten. Kurzum mein Lieblingsitaliener in der nördlichsten Stadt Italiens.

On a business trip to Munich, just search to find this Italian restaurant in a residential area. We decided to give a try. This is a very good restaurant, not very large but not small. The food is excellent. What I liked most is they care about the customers and have zeal to make customers satisfied. I highly recommend and will definitely eat there again.

Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen hier und bekamen problemlos auch den gewünschten Tisch. Die Bedienung war freundlich und hat uns gut beraten. Die Speisen waren durchweg gut, wenn auch nicht so überragend, wie man es aufgrund des Vortrags und der Speisekartenbeschreibung erwartet hätte. Wir gehen seit vielen Jahren zu Martinelli und waren immer begeistert. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, hervorragende Beratung und das wichtigste, eine ausgezeichnete Küche. Hier gibt es keine "normale" italienische Küche, sondern Gerichte, die mit unglaublich viel Liebe und Kreativität zubereitet wurden. Dazu werden ausgezeichnete Weine serviert, die man im Rahmen des Menüs mitbestellen kann. Das alles zu sehr fairen Preisen. Für uns der beste "Italiener" der Stadt und ....... wir kennen auch all die anderen der Topkategorie.

We found from the start that the hospitality and the atmosphere was exceptional, very friendly staff who took the time to help us with any questions we asked. The issues with our meals was firsly that the menu was very limited and we thought that this was not biggie and we could just order and eat a single maincourse. When our food came it was a big plate with a spec of food in the middle, 16 euro for the amount of food we ordered was absurd, then we came to the bill and noticed that the price of the water we had to drink was as expensive as our "main course". Martinelli is located in Munich's east, offering a covered Terrace in addition to the restaurant itself. Besides a 4,5 or 6 course menu including different wines fitting to each course you may also eat a la carte.The wine list is as extraordinary as the quality of food and service. Guests are coming mostly from the nearby luxury neighborhood, therefore you can expect a very relaxing athmosphere - no new-ritch students, models, movie directors and so on. In opposite to many so called "promi restaurants" located in the city centre of Munich the owners are not arrogant or apple-polishing, but just friendly and supportive.For Primo, Secondo, Dolce, 1 bottle wine and water don't expect a bill les... I rarely ever use these words, and I only write reviews when I am either extremely positively or negatively surprised. This dinner was absolutely amazing. We had the 5 course surprise menu: the dorade and cucumbers appetizer was succulent, the creme brulee foie gras was the best foie gras I have ever had. The veal tagliatelle was perfectly cooked and the sauce so delicious and refreshing! The Rosemary lamb main course was full of flavor, and may be a bit too salty for our taste, but nonetheless delicious. And to top it all of, an explosion of flavor with the lemon sorbet and the various fresh and crunchy textures on the plate. Was soll man(n) sagen... versuchen Sie es selbst... und lassen Sie sich einfach nur mal Zeit! Das Martinelli ist ein kleines aber feines italienisch gehobenes Restaurant, in dem es einfach Spaß macht zu GENIEßEN! Bestimmt gibt es auch mal "schlechte" Tage - aber dieser war perfekt! Liebevoll eingerichtet aber auch modern. Gemütlich. Die Gastgeber ... einfach Italiener durch und durch... Elena ... il boss! Klasse! Weinfachwissen... top! Dined here on 2017-08-04. Every now and then one makes a fortuitous discovery. This was our first fine dining experience in Munich, and it exceeded all expectations. Elena creates the character of the restaurant and curates the wine pairings and list, while husband Luca creates the amazing food. Even though there were many people in the restaurant, one or both of them stopped at our table at every course to discuss the food and wine, making us feel like their personal and only guests.The plan was to have the 6 course tasting menu, but by the end of the night we had sampled about 9 different dishes, all of them excellent.
