"Rating: 98/100 pts The best meal I had in France. Even if you don't read to the end, at least know that. This place was completely filled with locals, and we were lucky enough to have been seated. My excitement mounted even further when I saw the menu: freshly printed for that day, and only a few choices, signifying fresh ingredients and preparation. Though your experience may not be the same as mine, I can guarantee it will be memorable. Just take a look at the menu (see picture); even if you aren't well-versed in French, the attention to detail still comes through with the sheer amount of texture and flavor combinations, making for a modern dining experience that still upholds the virtues of French cuisine. Here's what I ordered: Consomme Soup with Carmelized onion (5/5): The onion came still in shape, but with a thin layer of melted cheese under each leaf! There were also chunks of crisped cheese that punched your face with flavor. Beef Braised in Red Wine (5/5): Some of the tenderest, juiciest, most flavorful beef I've ever had, along with some chopped carrots that were so good, they'd make eating your daily vegetables a joy rather than a chore. Pink Trout (5/5): Topped with quinoa and served in a light broth lightly flavored with citrus and mint. One of the most interesting flavor combinations in recent memory. -Dessert- Blances Montes, Vanilla Parfait, and Citron-tinged Caramel Cream (HOLY ****/5): What appeared like a few colored splodges on the plate ended up being one of the most interesting desserts I've ever had. Each of the three creamy varieties had vastly different flavors and textures, but all would disintegrate seconds after being placed on the tongue, imprinting its aroma and taste. Though I can't guarantee all or any of these dishes will be on the menu when you go, each one proved to me that anything coming out of this kitchen is superb. Far from the most expensive meal I had in France but the best by a large margin makes Le Richer an easy 5 stars. Apologies for the lighting of my pictures. Everything is better than it looks!"
