Dined twice during a recent stay and had wonderful meals both times. The first was on the back terrace and perfectly prepared fish and the second was inside with beautiful veal. This family owned restaurant and good location makes a wonderful evening as our host chose the ideal complimentary wine.

After we had several excellent diners during the last year at the olive, we decided to spend the last day of 2014 for an Sylvester Dinner at Olive in Frankfurt. This was the right decision. Mr. Charrad and his Team offered a very good Service, an excellent menu and a good selection of wine. Special thanks to Mr. Charrad and his Team for this wonderful evening.

Staying at the Paragon you can walk thru the sliding doors to enter the resto. Good News is you still have WiFi. On the menu Pasta, Pizza and so on to choose from. First evening I went for Pasta and a glass of house red. The Pasta was really good. Also the wine did not dissapoint me. Good Portion and volume.Second evening I had Pizza. Again enjoyed it very much.Good Food, well proportioned and for a friendly Price.

The location doesn't raise expectations, from outside it doesn't look too impressive, but this little gem is certainly one of the best Italian restaurants in Frankfurt. Ask the proprietor for the daily specials, the fresh fish or whichever he managed to get at the market, and you won't be disappointed. Sure, you can also get a simple primo piatto or a pizza, but that would be wasting a wonderful opportunity.I just wish public transportation was a bit better, to be able to enjoy the wine selection...

Yum--Lightly floured, pan fried, whole sea bass stuffed with lemon, fresh sage and thyme, olive oil--probably the best fish I have EVER eaten. The sweetest fingerling potatoes & haricots verts on the side. Olive's Restaurant down the road from a stark NH Hotel in an airport suburb of Frankfurt on Frankfurter Strasse in Raunheim, which turns out to be kind of charming, unexpectedly (given the hotel & airport proximity). Perfect weather sitting outside. Seems to be Greek owned, and I feel as if I am on a Greek island after eating that delicious meal.World Cup preliminaries on the television.

Staying at a hotel at the Frankfurt airport, my husband and I were looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy our last evening in Germany and what a fabulous experience we had at the "Olive" restaurant in Frankfurt Niederrath, only 15 minutes by cab from the airport (18 Euros). Even the looks of the restaurant from the outside was not that promising, we were surprised of the elegant and modern furnishing inside as well as the beautiful little beergarden outside the back of the restaurant.
