Für ein romantisches Dinner ist das super. Achtung: die eingeladene Person so setzen lassen, dass sie in Drehrichtung blickt (sonst wird manchen Personen leicht übel). Es gibt zwei verschiedene Dinner-Zeiten; die erste davon ist eher bezahlbar.

had dinner at Sommernachtstraum with big firework on 29th. of July and everything went perfect. Nice and comfortable atmosphere, excellent Food preparation and presentation, meals were truly delicious and our Server Frau Schumann did an exquisite Job presenting and discussing even with my provocating style she replied very professionally, big compliments

Das Restaurant ist in einer Höhe von 181 Metern wodurch man einen wunderschönen Blick über München hat.Das Restaurant selbst dreht sich langsam um den Olympiaturm wodurch man alles mal sieht.Im Anschluss an das Essen gibt es noch die Möglichkeit auf die Aussichtplattform zu gehen und den Blick unter freiem Himmel nochmals zu genießen.Wir hatten ein drei Gänge Menu welches hervorragend geschmeckt hat. Zu unserem Jahrestag durften wir am Abend eines Feuerwerks im 181 zu Gast sein. Das 5-Gang-Dinner mit Weinbegleitung gehört zur gehobenen Preisklasse, kann man aber wirklich genießen. Das Menu war von hoher Qualität, geschmacklich auf hohem Niveau, jedoch wenig innovativ. Hätte mir hier mehr inspirierte Küche gewünscht. Wein wurde großzügig nachgeschenkt, Service sehr aufmerksam. Lediglich das Timing Hauptgang und Feuerwerk ist dem Kellner nicht gelungen - unserem hervorragenden Niedriggar-Tafelspitz gaben wir den Vorzug, um ihn warm zu genießen und haben so das Feuerwerk verpasst. Dennoch: Ein gelungener Abend.

We went for lunch and had an enjoyable couple of hours and a reasonable meal. although we felt it could have been better. We opted for the set menu at 34 Euros 50 each, and probably were fortunate that a couple of items were unavailable, so we were able to get alternatives which we preferred. Overall it was quite good value, although we felt the food just lacked a little subtlety in presentation and seasoning. Drinks were reasonably priced and Frau Bauer's service was efficient and good-humoured. The experience of dining while the restaurant slowly revolves is a hoot! Remember you still have to pay the fee for going up the tower, but that is worth doing anyway. We had booked a table for 13.0...

Our group ate at several Michelin rated restaurants while in Europe and this was bar far the most disappointing. The menu was a "set" menu. The pike perch was served with barbecue gnocchi not a good pairing, the sauce on the buffalo was overpowering no one at our table of 8 ate it. The "pesto" served with the steak also didn't work well and was disappointingly. In my opinion, they are trying to hard and complicating the dishes to try to impress on their award. Keep it simple is the motto they should try. Our waiter Walter was a little too much also. We had been walking around the Olympic park before arriving at the restaurant. One of our group had a bottled water when we arrived at our table... Voir le carte
