Superb attentive friendly service, delicious food with plenty of choice which came nice and quickly and a lovely birthday surprise!

My friends and I keep coming back here as the food is delicious, especially the lobster in ginger and spring onion on top of crispy noodles. The staff are kind, polite and always helpful. Thank you Regency for always being there for us: before, during and after Covid. We love you!

Girls night out. Headed here and were seated in a quiet table in the corner. Took the drinks order and they arrived promptly. Two of the girls opted for wine, but still, drinks help you choose! All food well presented, mine was very nice, everyone else said theirs was good too. Didn't have desert as too stuffed from dinner. Took food home too! Breakfast! Voir le carte

The place was freezing cold, the staff were very rude, China red our usual go to for a good Chinese was closed and as so many people had mentioned regency was ok we thought we would try it but certainly wouldn’t return, food literally thrown at you and took forever even tho there was only 2 tables in, we were so cold we kept our coats on and the place looked dirty and tired

How refreshing to be met in a restaurant by the owner, all the staff were very pleasant. Very quick to take a drink order and given some prawn crackers, nice touch. Whilst eating the duck the staff asked if we wanted some more cucumber and onion, which was very good, the food was pipping hot and very good, this is the best Chinese restaurant in the local area by far and service is very very good. Highly recommend a visit if you want quality food and service , will definitely becoming back

Visited recently for the first time with family. Overall, everybody enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly but maybe a little slow in clearing away the courses but it didnt cause a problem. The typical chinese hors d`ouevres were absolutely fine as was the crispy duck. However, personally i found the mains of which i tried a couple were a little tasteless especially as i had chosen a main that should have really had a bit more spice to it. But overall, as i said.....perfectly fine and reasonably priced! Voir le carte

Gathered for family celebration, usually go to Good Earth in Mill hill. Regency is good value for money, huge portions but very hit or miss. Busy restaurant and stafff struggled to keep eye in tabke, not attentive to topping up tea, water, slow to clear finhshed plates, but friendly enough The food as said hit or miss. Typhoon prawns were fabulous, golden prawns terrible. Ribs very Fatty and unappealing presentation, lemon chicken excellent, lamb and ginger tasteles, rice served in small cold bowls, I am still waiting for the noodles. Won't be returning in a hurry but probably better than most local Chinese

Since moving from Potters Bar to Goffs Oak, about 6 miles away, some 40 years ago, and having an excellent local Chinese, we only met a friend here, being halfway between properties. Very pleased with the evening as was our long-standing friend and guest. Very attentive staff and a fair ambience in this busy restaurant. No criticism of the food, other than an acknowledgement that whilst very freshly prepared and very acceptable, geared to an English taste.. very nicely prepared an tasty. Would certainly eat there again.. all reasonably priced and well run establishment.. only change I would expect is freshly steamed towels, following the meal, rather than Plastic microwave warmed offerings!

Party of 10 friends. Busy restaurant but i guess normal for a saturday night. Food arrived very fast and piping hot. Usually with chinese we have starters first then a break and then soup arrives. all dishes arrived all at once but in a way a good idea as gave the soup time to cool down a bit. 4 plates of mixed starters and 1 fish mixed platter and also extra spare ribs. totally demolished and enjoyed by all. Crab and sweetcorn soup was top notch. too many main course dishes to mention but not one complaint from anyone. Usually there is always someone that doesnt like something but no complaints from any of us. To end the night off i can highly recommend the coconut ice cream, if you like co... Voir le carte
