"we visited yesterday evening after reading reviews on travel advisers, as we were in a hotel 15 minutes away. we were not disappointed! eating was delicious and very good value for money. I had the chicken and cheeseburger with chips and wobble rings, it was delicious. my man is a big steak fan and so he tried the 10 ounce rap, he said it was the best steak he had in a long time, not an oz fat on it! the chips were nice, chip shop style without the fat. we will definitely return."

It's a great little pub this. Lynsey and family have done well to build it up over the years to a friendly local without airs and graces. It is unspoilt and offers consistently good food and live music. It's a credit to the grass roots of the owner.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to the fantastic staff and excellent service. I parked my taxi and went in to use the restroom. While I was there, I realized I could use a nice cold drink and grabbed a refreshing cola to take with me, especially since Sainsbury's across the street was closed. I also asked for a bottle of water, and to my surprise, she gave it to me for free. I'll definitely be recommending this place to others!
