Very friendly and thoughtful staff especially as both elderly parents were unable to join us due to illness and let us take their Christmas dinner to them, very much appreciated. Definitely worth the 5 stars given and would recommend to friends as we left with rather full tummies and very content. Thankyou all for super day."

Quite upset with my mojito, they put coriander in it instead of mint. No ice… nothing to do with a mojito.

Had food today. Was apprehensive as last time wast as good as it should of been had rump steak today and cooked to perfection. Great afternoon with good music too.

Nice food, great prices. Very enjoyed our meal here. Lasagne was one of the best I had. Beautiful family-friendly pub with a good atmosphere. Staff service also really good. Very recommended

Red Lion today was brilliant. My colleagues and disabled people we look after took them to the pub as they welcome all customers with no restrictions. The food was plentiful and very quick after ordering.

Dave and Chantelle were very friendly and full of energy for two people under pressure from the Oxford crowd and some food delivery scooter drivers I as a customer found rude. Professional service staff cheers Red Lion.

Have been to meals at The Red Lion. Have always enjoyed them. Went this week with a visiting friend and we ordered a sandwich , Prawns in Marie Rose Sauce. The sliced bread was so dry, like toast and just 5 prawns. Such a shame.

I have been in this wonderful pub a few times with my family, the food was great and had a wonderful selection for all the kids, the staff are all welcoming and very professional, the cleanliness was overall good and we will be back soon

We went today for a fixed price Sunday Lunch starter and sweet were lovely although the Main had a lot to be desired as it tasted as though it had been cooked in advanced and was heated up the veg were rock hard and pigs in blankets and parsnip was well over cooked I will think twice about having that Usually food very nice there
