Nice meal but rushed out, cus the table had been over booked...not relaxed at all....perhaps go in the quieter time in the week and not on a friday

Rainbow palace don’t change after all the years, food is excellent the deals in the week are excellent the sauce on the bbq spare ribs are good. Love having a chat with B just super friendly.

Set meal is good value for money and the service was very good. It was really cold in the restaurant and there was no heating on. I had to wrap my coat around my legs. Been going for years and never had a bad meal, hence we keep going back. However the place really needs updating, it is looking very shabby and the ladies loos are very bad, tatty, untidy and not too clean either. Voir le carte

Not so great unfortunately our meals were under cooked veg hard and chicken very watery. Staff aren’t very welcoming and had to wait for items like drinks for a long time and had to ask more than twice for items. I used to eat here every special occasion unfortunately the food and staff are below average, it was quite frustrating as this was my sisters birthday meal out and it was very disappointing.

Table was nicely laid out, and the staff were friendly, they do a good set menu, and that's what we went for, starters were a little small,but the mains were very nice and plentiful, what spoilt the night was, as the desserts were served, we were also given the bill,and told that they needed the table in 15 minutes so instead of finishing the night with a coffee and a catch up, we had to eat and pay, then move on,pity.

What a fabulous place to eat food excellent staff brilliant very polite and friendly nothing is to much trouble the food is 100% really good allways fresh service the staff provide is so good very clean and hygienic the cfood those chefs send out is in my eyes is 100% perfect went there yesterday for my Birthday and I an so glad I did could not of been better so Thank you to All the staff and chefs for making my birthday a very memorable one Stuart Brewster Voir le carte

Three of us ate here and I can say the food is very good and a lot of choice However the lack of service is another thing, there seemed a lot of staff but was very hard to get someone to take our order then any further drinks we wanted was quite hard to get there was no check back on our food to see if everything was ok The staff seemed to look like they didn’t want to be there and was more happier standing at the bar area talking Shame really as always wanted to go here and was looking forward to it Would I return no! We will find another restaurant that makes you feel welcome

Attended here with a big group for a birthday, so first of all we was put in the back room which I liked due to having a few children with us so it was more private but.. I think they forgot about us most of the time). We had to keep going up the front of the restaurant to tell them we was ready to order drinks, then someone went down to let them know we was ready to order food to, we basically didn’t have table service. Once we received our food this was the best part of the night as the food was so nice! They should have put a member of staff to attend the courtyard bar as they only took one drink order the whole time us being there. Which would obviously mean the business would be having...

This was the first occasion that my family had visited these premises to enjoy an evening meal. However there was no initial warm welcome by the staff and were directed to our table where we ordered our meal and drinks. The food was excellent and presented well but it was truly noticeable that the staff were not happy to be serving you and they never asked anyone of five of us in the party if the food supplied was alright and appeared to ignore our table for further drinks etc. We had to ask for our bill numerous times and had to wait a while before it was presented to us to pay.
