The pub was very crowded, but the staff, particularly the two Lisas and Chloe, were incredible. I will definitely be returning soon.

Great quality food with very attentive, warm staff. Ate from the the normal menu which was delicious, and great value for money, but saw a near by table with the Christmas menu, so we are coming back to try it! Atmosphere was very welcoming.

Back again three months on. Same excellent value honest pub grub. Small fish and chips perfect for my 89 year old father in law, fish generally excellent and the inclusion of the curry sauce option is inspirational. Service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive.

I ordered the Beef Casserole at the restaurant and found it to be very salty. I had two of my friends taste the gravy, and they agreed with me. When I asked if I could get a different meal because the casserole was inedible, I was told I could as long as I paid for another dish. I requested to speak with the chef, but he declined, saying he was too busy. Voir le carte

We are regular customers of the Quarry Bank pub. An excellent local pub and often very busy. Generally the food has been good value and tasty pub food. With the introduction of a new menu we were very dissapointed. The portions are small, the quality was poor and the price has gone up. It’s as if the the new menu was made by Accountants. The reason I kept a 4 star review is that it has great staff and atmosphere and an all round great pub.

The Quarry Bank Inn has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, perfect for an afternoon meal. The pub was quite busy, which is always a positive sign. The value for money is great, with two meals costing under £20. I opted for the chicken tikka masala curry, while my friend chose the gammon with egg and chips, both dishes were well-received. The Hydes Bitter was excellent as well. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming, making for a nice family-friendly pub.

This used to be fabulous value and quality and was our go to place for a great meal of excellent quality and the best value around. They've recently hiked up all their prices, in some cases exorbitantly. The rump steak was our favourite, fabulous deal and quality £9.95 including steak sauce of your choice, a breath of fresh air compared to all other establishments ripping customers off with their £1.99 mini sauce boats! Sadly The QB has followed in their footsteps and the once amazing rump steak is now £12.95 plus £1.95 for a mini boat of steak sauce thus our favourite rump steak meal is now 50% more expensive and is no longer a good deal for us.
