21st birthday meal and an 18th meal on two separate occasions, we had an absolutely beautiful meal here. Clean fresh table coverings and decorations. Great atmosphere. While passing through Melton Mowbray from the West Midlands, we made a reservation at Purple Garlic. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant was initially quiet but quickly became busy. Our starters and main courses were outstanding, the chicken being cooked perfectly. We complimented the chef on the delicious meal. The prices were reasonable, and if we find ourselves traveling through the area again, we will definitely return.

I visited here with my Dad and 2 siblings and we were very impressed. We decided to try this place as our usual favourite Indian has gone drastically downhill, but I think we found our new favourite right here. We all tried different dishes (there’s a lot to choose from which isn’t usually a good sign! and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Lots of flavour! The staff were all really friendly and helpful; one of the waiters suggested a dish to my sister as he overheard her saying she liked a sweeter curry. The prices are quite low too which is obviously an added bonus so all in all, I would highly recommend Purple Garlic.

We have been loyal fans of Purple Garlic since it first opened and it remains our top choice in Melton. The staff is very friendly, the menu offers a variety of tasty dishes at reasonable prices. We always feel warmly welcomed and the staff goes out of their way to make sure we have a pleasant dining experience. While the restaurant is on the smaller side and can get crowded, it is recommended to make a reservation, especially on weekends. Our five-year-old son enjoys visiting as well, as the staff treats him like a VIP. My personal favorite dish is the kofta capsila, a delicious combination of chicken tikka wrapped in minced lamb, served in a bhuna sauce. For those looking for another recom... Voir le carte
