"I went there reading the good reviews about the place on tripadviser. But I was shocked when I reached as it is not even a proper restaurant. The ambiance is even worse than a cheap fired chicken shop. So much that you wouldnt want to spend ur evening there. Since I read very good reviews about the place, I thought may be the food must be really good so gave it a try despite the poor ambiance. They simply microwave the precooked food including roasted chicken and chicken tikka, in a plastic box and serve it to you. So everything is basically stale there. The flavour of food is not that bad but it is not worth giving a try either. You should consider cooking at home rather than having stale food that isnt good quality either."

We drive for about 30 minutes to come here and get takeout because the food quality at this place never disappoints. This small restaurant offers authentic Punjabi cuisine that is incredibly delicious. The staff is also wonderful.

picking up a few aloo parathas and lacha parathas and realized that the frozen parathas we get from Tescos/Asda were much better than these. these parathas were not good. when they try to order parathas from here, they think twice!

A wide variety of traditional comfort food including chana (chick Eagles) and Aloo paratha (Tortilla filled potatoes). Good meat dishes, but the star of the show is the Indian egg (burji specialized in) you may have to order from the menu.

Recently ordered from here. Genuinely shocked at the reviews of this place. The food was so bad… tasteless and very very oily. Chicken jalfrezi was so poor executed the chicken used was over cooked and dry and it was swimming in masala and oil that had no flavour the chicken makhani was no better. Not sure what type of oil they use but felt a horrid taste in my mouth. The chicken biryani just felt left a water chicken curry mixed white rice. Seriously shocked at how bad the food was. Spent about £40 and we had to chuck most of it away so bad.

Located just off the High Street, this restaurant is humble yet clean and recently renovated. They offer a variety of freshly prepared dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options that can be customized to personal preferences. Their chhapatis, parathas, samosas, and naans are made to order and always fresh. While their sweet dish options are limited, I would recommend trying their lamb and chicken kababs, stuffed parathas, and Indian spice tea. They also offer excellent takeaway service and have been reliable for party orders in the past. The service is prompt and the food is always fresh.

I have heard the natives with something about the subcontinent that punjabi dhaba as the kind of unpredictable place they could find in a street market or on the side of a dirt track. it may be as close to the Indian road eating as they find in the south-east of london. eating is cheap, fast and authentic. a small caffe from the plumstead high street has enough seats for about 15 people and a glass counter that various willing to serve to eat. they have a wider menu that they cook them from scratches also quite a lot. they make very good naans from their tonnofen and have a series of pages that they do not often see how crispy broken paprika and fried potato...read more
