"it was my first time to visit the portsmouth arms, it was a visit with the family, and good the experience that the eating was amazing it was nice pub food with a little bit extra and worth every penny, the staff were very polite and helpful and the pub had a nice atmosphere that many places lacked in the last months and a great thank you to sarah c for their great service. they would recommend the portsmouth arms to anyone who thinks about going there either for a drink or eating."

I went for a Sunday lunch here at 4pm yesterday. The roast beef was lovely and cooked perfectly. Not dry and kept warm for hours.

Excellent pub with a fantastic Saturday market, and now a Thursday evening Christmas Market, all stall holders table money goes to charity.

We visit their weekly market and have been to the pub a few times now too. The food is always delicious and the service is great too. There's a play area in the back so the little ones are entertained too (suitable for older children).

always has a great atmosphere and eating is nice. Many outdoor seats and parking are sufficient. love that the renter has done so much for the local community and well-being. the market on a Saturday has many choices and many numbers of stands.
