Very nice and friendly can be very noisy in the restaurant. If you have a milk intolerance be prepared to pay extra for soya milk that is the only place in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex that we have paid for a small jug for 40pence.

Fantastic experience with Poplar Nurseries! They flawlessly catered our event for 34 people, providing delicious and well-prepared food that offered incredible value for money. The entire process was highly efficient, and the presentation was superb. We're definitely ordering from them again!

The staff were attentive, seemed motivated and keen to please. Our order was delivered in a reasonable time. The food was well prepared nicely presented, generous in proportion and very good to eat! All in all an enjoyable breakfast with the added benefit of the garden centre to explore if you’ve got time. We will be back!

Today's experience at the restaurant was terrible. We attempted to get a table for a quick drink, particularly for my daughter. Many tables were reserved, which is understandable, but one table was reserved for 2pm. We arrived at 11am and still were not allowed to sit there. The staff were disorganized and not very helpful. It is disappointing because we usually enjoy this garden center/cafe, but this one experience has soured our opinion.

Restaurant very busy, but staff very helpful and efficient. We ordered Sunday lunch. The beef was almost inedible, as very rare and tough. The roast potatoes were barely roasted. The amount varied on our plates, from none to 3! However, the waitress was very quick to bring us some more potatoes. My friend and I found the cake a little dry too. Called in for breakfast on our way home this morning from an overnight stay in Clacton. Very convenient as en route and we've eaten here before. I see some people are complaining about the prices but I felt they were Ok for what we had coffees, breakfast sandwich and avocado with poached egg and beetroot in these inflationary times. Only slight disappointment was that I was expecting the tomato with the avocado to be fresh tomato (grilled, baked or fried) rather than the pieces of sundried tomato I got.

We went to this restaurant for the first time today and had a delightful Afternoon Tea. The spread was vibrant and appetizing, with delicious cakes. The scone tasted like buttery shortbread. The restaurant was quite busy, so we had to request plates, cutlery, and milk, but it didn't dampen our experience. We hope to visit again soon. To top it off, my son and daughter-in-law shared the exciting news that they are expecting a baby in September, making the occasion even more memorable. Well done to all the staff!

Popped in here as diverted off A12 due to roadworks. Passed our way through truly rural farm fields and then saw this garden centre. As my wife and I were both starving we hoped for a restaurant, and we were not disappointed. Very busy restaurant. We ordered from the queue but after rushing to get a table number found menus on the table. Still the counter choices were enough. We opted for baked potatoes with cheese and beans. Also banana milkshakes. And as my wife knows my eyes were bigger than my stomach…I ordered a delicious slice of cake. All the food was excellent.
