Six of us went for my mums birthday, my husband said it was the best lasagna he had ever had! All of or dinners were lovely with lots of veg. It was so had to choose dessert as there were so many lovely things on the menu. Will definitely go back.

Went here for my dad’s 70th Birthday. There were 11 of us and we all had the 3 course Christmas menu. Food came out in good time and each course was well cooked. Lovely log fire burning behind us. Highly recommend going there. Will go back again soon. Voir le carte

I absolutely adore this Essex pub located near the salt marshes. I dined here just before Christmas, and the food was amazing. The pub has so much character and is a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Southend. I also enjoyed a delightful Addlestone's cider while I was there.

the tiger prawns for a beginner, the beautiful färger of barling, the selection of craftsmen, the house made desserts, the friendly greeting, and the roaring cameins are just a few of many things that make me back to this small hidden gem, always again. thanks to mark and lois that they always welcome us.
