I absolutely adore this Essex pub located near the salt marshes. I dined here just before Christmas, and the food was amazing. The pub has so much character and is a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Southend. I also enjoyed a delightful Addlestone's cider while I was there.

50th birthday meal with some surprise family guests. I had a fabulous time. The food was amazing for all, and the service was spot on. Haven't visited for over 15 years and still can't fault a thing.
