"I have visited this restaurant a lot since it has opened both as a couple and as a solo female diner and have had some fantastic meals and some average meals but I have always found it to be a place that I feel comfortable visiting on my own. Tonight I have changed my opinion. For some reason they seem to have hiked there prices up and appear to be chasing the Euro over quality dining. Hey ho! I saw the huge price increase but still decided to give it a go because I have always liked their lasagna and I have dined here on several occasions by myself and felt comfortable. I will never eat here again after tonight’s experience. I ordered my drink and main meal, this came and I finished it but was left to my own devices, the waiter seemed uncomfortable serving a lone female and I had to request salt etc... anyway I ate my meal and then tried to get attention to request the bill. Nobody had been to ask if I wanted extra drinks, dessert or coffee and after waiting and trying to get attention I decided that I really needed to go to the ladies. So I got up and still tried to get the attention of a waiter tending to the tables near me but to no avail and I continued to walk to the ladies and managed to ask for the bill but struggled to say which table. After returning from the ladies I found that my table had been cleared and there was a couple sat at it! So I grabbed a waitress and asked for the bill, when she asked which table I was sitting at she got very confused because somebody was sitting at that table. Needless to say I will not be revisiting this restaurant despite being a loyal customer for the last 4-5 years. I have never been made to feel like such a loser for daring to go out and down without a man. In this day and age restaurants should be more accommodating of lone diners. I really wish that we had walked without paying now (which I would never do) because they would not have had a clue."

The restaurant specialise in Italian food, we had very good vegetarian pizza and a gnocchi dish with Roquefort cheese which was superb. The coffee was great better than a lot of cafes in the area. The service was slow and not many people eating so wouldn't advise going if you're in a rush.

Excellent service, food and location xxx Greeted by a lovely helpful waiter and waitress. Food choices are varied to suit any palette. The location is right on the seafront with stunning views. The food was delicious, I ordered vegetarian spaghetti. Family of 4 with wine, drinks and ice lilies €51 which was great value. Be warned the portions are big x ENJOY

I should have known to change my dish when the table next door had already sent a meal back. Now I like salt but this was outrageously salty. They didn’t bring our side order and gave me the smallest glass of wine ever . When questioned they did top it up, however the meal was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I don’t usually complain and I like decent food but needed to review as it was so awful. Go to max beach instead Indian food is great .

Very friendly and welcoming. We had 2 kids ham pizza’s a prawn and garlic pizza a lasagne and garlic bread. Pizza was lovely and thin fresh from the oven the lasagne was excellent with loads of cheese over the top and the garlic bread was a long roll sliced 5 times stuffed with garlic and cheese and baked. All the food was fresh and warm we had a couple of drinks and a large bottle of water all in €48 which I thought was great value. The location is on the front with a great view of the beach and water.

Four of us eat at the Don Giovanni on Monday night, on its enclosed front terrace. The menu offers a good range of choices at reasonable prices. We started with garlic bread which was good. For mains we had two pork steaks with pepper sauce and one with mushrooms all served with chips and vegetables. One person went for the grilled chicken with chips. All the the food was well cooked and the portion sizes huge. Afterwards we had one dessert and coffees. To drink we had a bottle of PIno Grigio wine and beer. The service was fine and the only negative for us was that smoking is permitted on the enclosed terrace as we discovered in the middle of our meal.

I had the spaghetti bolognaise thinking that as it was an Italian restaurant, it would be good. Very disappointed. It was spaghetti with a few chunks of mince and a sauce that tasted, smelt and looked just like the sauce of tinned spaghetti/spaghetti hoops. Really disappointed and would never go here again. Maybe I made the wrong choice in meal and should have gone for the pizza although I dont know if that would have been better. I dont usually write bad reviews as I know staff earn their living here, but if you do eat here, dont order the spaghetti bolognaise. The restaurant was pretty empty so maybe that should have tipped me off to start with. Waiter though was very nice.

My wife and I visited the Don Giovanni restaurant on 3rd May as we were staying in the Hotel Alaska which is behind the restaurant. It wasn’t very busy but the staff were friendly and spoke English. The garlic bread was different. It was small and seemed like cream cheese. The pizzas were good. I had the Don Giovanni which was lovely apart from the tuna but that was my fault, I should have asked for it without tuna. I’ve had tiramisu in many restaurants around the world but I must say Don Giovanni’s tiramisu is one of the best I’ve ever had. We had one glass of wine, one Martini and tonic, two gin and tonics, two garlic breads, two pizzas, two deserts and two coffees each (I know it seems a...

"A Jewel of Spanish Gastronomy: La Gamba La Gamba, a small but remarkable restaurant located in the heart of the vibrant city, is an untapped paradise for all connoisseurs. Its ability to offer authentic Spanish gastronomy in a cozy, homely atmosphere makes it an obvious choice for a memorable culinary experience. Upon entering, the charming atmosphere of the rustic yet sophisticated interior welcomes you. Warm lighting, vintage pictures on the walls, and the rich aroma of Spanish food combine to give you an instant feeling of being at home. The atmosphere is truly something to brag about and sets the scene for the first class service that follows. A special mention goes to Robert, a waiter whose passion and dedication to his profession shines through from the moment he greets you at the door. Robert has a unique ability to make guests feel especially taken care of, without it being overwhelming. His eye for detail, his knowledge of the menu and his willingness to go the extra mile to accommodate the customer 's requests is truly remarkable. The food at La Gamba is pure gastronomic art. From the perfectly fried gambas, to the juicy paellas, each dish is an explosion of flavors. It is clear that pride is taken in using fresh, high quality ingredients, and the skill in the cooking is evident. One of the highlights was the signature dish, 'Gamba a la Plancha ', whose taste was as impressive as its presentation. The succulent prawns, seasoned to perfection and grilled on a traditional plancha, were in one word: heavenly. Even the dessert menu left us impressed, with a 'Churros con Chocolate ' good enough to elicit spontaneous applause from the table. The churros, golden and crispy, were served with a dark chocolate fountain that was richly creamy and luxurious. Bottom line, La Gamba delivers an unbeatable combination of fantastic food, excellent service, and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxed. A visit here is more than just a meal, it 's a total experience and much of this can be attributed to the fantastic service provided by Robert. If you 're looking for authentic Spanish food in a warm, inviting environment, look no further than La Gamba.
