"My husband and I were driving on our way to Pisa, passing through Parma. Ithadbeen a crappy day all around, what with rain and a few mishaps and delays along the way. We decided to stop off for some lunch, but had a heck of a time finding a place that was open, serving food, and had some kind of parking nearby. We stopped as a last resort at a little place serving some bread with various cold cuts. My husband mentioned to the man helping us that we wanted to find some place serving pasta, but hadn't found one. He directed us to a place, Al Faro, saying it was really good. And it was! We each ordered a pasta dish and some wine. Then they brought out a basket of delicious crusty bread. Then they appeared at our table with something looking like a pizza with just a tomato and herb sauce offering it to us as a free appetizer. It was so good! Our pasta arrived shortly, and both were great, tasting better than any we had tasted on this trip (over a week), good fresh ingredients, well made, and very polite and helpful servers. To top it off, it was all only 23€! A bargain for all we had, we could barely finish. Recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves in Parma looking for a good meal!"

Pesce, carne, pizza... Il solito mix, di tutto un po', non mi convince mai. Di eccellente, però, ci sono i dolci che hanno tutta l'aria di essere preparati da una vera nonna (spettacolare la boulle di frutta cotta).

Locale storico , personale svelto, attento e cortese. Servizi igienici molto puliti nonostante fosse ormai tarda serata : si intuisce quindi estrema attenzione all'igiene. Pizza sempre buonissima e leggera! Bravi,ci si torna

Ci sono stato a pranzo durante la settimana. Piuttosto scomodo parcheggiare l'auto. Va lasciata lungo la statale o nei pochi posti lì attorno. Piacevoli i coperti all'aperto. A mio avviso pizza buona e digeribile. Personale gentile e presente.

Italians coming from South Italy are running the restaurant... wery good fish dishes with qiet low price. If you don't like fish there are lot of orher foods also and the pizza is wery good My recomandation that For dessert drink a coffe sorbet with adding some rum!!

We went to this Restuarant for pizza and were very happy with our choice. The pizza we ordered had fresh mozzerella,cherry tomatoes, and basil on it and it was delicious. Our friend ordered a calzone with proscuitto and he was very happy with his choice also.The restuarant was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive.We will go back every year when we are in Italy.
