"The Piazza Siciliana da Sebastiano in Colognestraße in Sankt Augustiner Ortsteil Hangelar has not been forgotten by us. Good experiences want to be revived. So the friended couple, with whom we had eaten with Sebastiano in May 2022, stimulates a return visit. The summer warm 20. June should be the day of the hopefully renewed enjoyment experience. To the ambience I wrote in detail in my previous review. For us Four is reserved on the terrace – thanks to roofing, it is perfectly protected from the crowds that are threatening this evening and then also in use later. A little early, my wife and I are at the reception desk at the entrance of the restaurant, which acts as a relic from Corona times. The young lady who works there leads us to the reserved table on the covered part of the terrace, after a little waiting time comes our friendly couple. There is a lot to tell so much that we hardly come to study the menus that are already on the table. A lady from the service team, who seems to be recruited in family, pushes a slate table with the daily dishes at our table. The service team, this time a young man and feels a football team, mixed with young and older ladies has not lost anything of the professionalism of past times. The fish I'm going to order will again be shown by one of the trained ladies. The family seems to be the foundation for the success of the restaurant business – nonno e nonnina, padre e madre, figlio e figlia e nipoti. It takes a while to choose. My wife decides for • Doraden-Lachs Saltimbocca with potatoes and vegetables (24,90 € from the daily ticket. For me it should be from the day ticket • Dorade from the grill with potatoes and day vegetables (26.90 €. Never change a winning team, I was very happy last time with the Dorade. Our couple decides for • Fatuccine with summer truffles (20,90 € and, if I remember correctly, for • Insalata della casa – mixed salad, tuna, ham, cheese, shrimps, yogurt dressing (14,90 €). Before that, one of the professionally active ladies has already brought us drinks that are served properly cooled. Harmonically, the XX and XY chromosome straps of our table opposite to Kölsch, my wife chooses a • three-quarter litre bottle San Pellegrino (7,20 € and I as a mountainous Jong first one • Bergisches Landbier (0,3 l to 3,60 €). In the following I go closer to what my wife and I have eaten, in summary I tell you about the eating experience of our table partners. As we wait for our main foods, the time passes as we fly – we have a lot to tell. Our leasing is abruptly interrupted, the head of the house begins with the fillet operation. It first promotes the bags of my Dorade on the edge of my plate, carefully lays down the dorade sides liberated from the head and fins. The spinach is also tastefully seasoned and does not miss the necessary Knobi note. My wife is thrilled by her court, which she had enjoyed very much during the penultimate visit in May 2022. Doraden-Lachs Saltimbocca The Italian classic shows itself here in an exceptional fish variant: Two dorade fillets are covered with the usual sage leaves and have received a hood of smoked salmon fillet. Completed with a spicy white wine sauce, this composition of my enthusiasts is once again excellent. Even the supplements – rosemary spices and spinach as with my dish – leave nothing to be desired. Our friends are also very happy with their courts. In the case of cleanliness and price/performance ratio, it remains with the good reviews that we submitted in autumn 2022. Once again we have not been disappointed and will be happy to come back. And again a smooth recommendation for Piazza Siciliana da Sebastiano."

my Italian restaurant. atmosphere is beautiful, Italian owners are very friendly and friendly, eating is really good and as they know an Italian restaurant is good if the tomatensuppe is good. and the tomatensuppe is absolutely fantastic. but also the other possibilities. on the map are really good. it is not luxury inside. I was visiting my brother and evening we ordered a table in the piazza siciliana.Although this was more than well visited locally, we could still choose whether we prefer a table in the outside or in the inside ... that you do not experience everywhere!the selection is great. next to the standard card there is still a table with current offered ... the selection is difficult. the service was friendly and accommodating, but sometimes whether the well visited local something overwhelmed. the antipasti and the pizzas were very good; the pizzas had a wonderfully crooked floor as it should be. Overall I felt very comfortable here and that eating was good.

after a first bad experience a year ago and as bad days can happen to everyone, we came back to this restaurant on 16th juli with two friends and. that was worse than the first time. this is an Italian restaurant with fair...prices and relatiw good eating but there is absolutely no or a very bad) service.
