"Blink and you may miss it. But you definitely don't want to! A small shop on a little strip with a limited amount of parking outside. There were people queued outside 10 mins before opening. The shop uses a clever system that allows for pre-ordered food, a couple of touch screens with card payments and the traditional order at the counter. The front counter is organised into sections for efficiency, and they are a well oiled machine. The bit you are probably waiting for.... The food. We ordered chicken pieces (x8), chips and a homemade curry sauce. Steak pie, chips and curry sauce. The chicken was excellent, the pie was exactly what you would want, and the chips were as good as I have ever had. They say you can judge a chip shop by their fish and chips. Although I didn't try the fish this time, I would be confident it was very good and will no doubt try that next time. The curry sauce was fantastic. Easily one of the best I have had. You can tell it's homemade. Although this chip shop is at least 20 mins from my home, it has now become the only place I would buy from. In short, wonderful food, fast turnaround, and pleasant staff who are extremely efficient. Oh, almost forgot. Reasonably priced too! 5 stars. As always, the fish and chips were fantastic! I believe they get better each time we have them. I highly recommend them to everyone. They offer excellent value for money and are not too expensive, making them one of the best, if not the best, fish and chips in Darlington.

Really good food, the only reason for 4* is because the order was incorrect. This was discovered when I got home as due to the how busy it was inside, I didn't check it when it was handed to me. Their policy on the wall states that once the order leaves the premises they can't change it. Make sure to check your order is correct before you leave! We came here twice during our holiday to Tintagel and on each occasion the food was amazing! The chips are some of the best we have had. Even the homemade curry sauce and mushy peas are amazing. Highly recommended this place option to place order on a screen which helps when they are busy, prices are cheap, good customer service and most importantly the food is very tasty. Best chippy around Tintagel.
