Paul's Plaice - Carte

This is the best fish and chip shop in the area! The food is always delicious and the portions are generous. You can park on the high street or get a free hour in the car park located just behind the shop.

This chippy is fantastic - definitely the best I have ever had! The staff are lovely as well. It's great that you can order in advance online. Keep up the good work - we love our weekly fish and chips here.

We ordered 4 portions of fish and chips and it literally took less than 5 minutes to be ready. That means no unnecessary wait time. The fish and chips is heavenly. Well made. I had salt and vinegar sprinkled on mine. Pleasant staff. Voir le carte

Me and my husband have just moved to the area and are very pleased this is our local chippy! We had fish, battered burger, chips, pea fritter, pickled egg and curry sauce. All very tasty and hot, good speedy service and reasonably priced. Thanks!

The whole team here are so friendly and helpful it’s always great to see them. Not only that but the food is so brilliant and freshly cooked. No wonder they have recently won best fish and chip shop in Hampshire. Unbelievable ability to serve so many people so efficiently. Brilliant job guys.

A brilliant fish and chip shop. It's good, and people know it, so there is high demand. Expect a short queue on Fridays and Saturdays, but they have a slick and fast production line, fish are cooked to order and the constant chip cooking means you will always leave with hot freshly cooked food. 11/10 Amazing food, generous portions, reasonably priced and the staff were outstanding. Popped in for lunch as I was in the area, I got the Chicken Strips, a cone of chips with salt and vinegar plus a pot of gravy. There were a few customers in but no one had to wait at all really. The food was still hot by the time I got to Otterbourne to eat it! Highly recommended!!

There is no better fish and chip shop! When we moved into this area 12 years ago, there were many reasons to love it - the village life, excellent schools, farms and beautiful walks that make it feel like a little oasis. And to add to all that, we quickly discovered Paul's Plaice, the best fish and chip shop around. As a fish and chip lover, this place is amazing. The food is great and the staff are really lovely. We are lucky to have them right on our doorstep! Keep up the good work, folks!

Reading a recent review giving Paul’s Plaice a one star rating, I wanted to say we have been going here for 9 years and in that time the food and the service have been excellent. Problems with a fryer going down cannot be helped. We place our order online and pay for it before collecting it which is why when there is such a problem the customer takes priority I presume. People are so quick to complain these days and don’t look at the full picture. Anyone reading this review before visiting this chip shop, then trust me you will not be disappointed. We would drive along way to buy fish and chips from Paul’s Plaice, and if there was a problem we certainly would not judge and rush to give them... Voir le carte
