An excellent English Pub, good atmosphere, the food was tasty, nice people, if you want to have an English Pub experience I do recommend this place, it’s not that easy to get there as it’s not central, but it’s worth it!

We had a 3lm table booked for 8 people and was told when we got there they had given our table to another party, which then made the kitchen really busy, so our choice was to eat in the bar and possibly have over an hour wait for our food, so we left.

Unfortunately the quality of the roast has dipped since my last visit in 2022. The roast potatoes were not crispy and seemed to be re-heated and the veg was not the same taste or quality, there were no parsnips and they added tasteless suede?! It’s such a shame as this was my go to place for a classic Sunday roast. Will not be going back sadly????.
