"Ordered 2 children's meal's which came a lot sooner than all the adult meals. We had already astablished that the chips were not cooked in fish oil beforehand It became apparent that 1 of the child's meal was fish instead of chicken...we told them of this,they did offer to change but the child declined as they'd nearly finished most of the other food on plate and they were embarrassed (it wasn't until her Mum asked that we discovered it was fish) I pointed out to waiter it could have been dangerous as you were already aware of the fish allergy in the party When the adult meals arrived we thought that we'd ordered children's meal in error given the size of them,not very hot to be fair considering how long we had waited but we didn't say anything(all same food) as we just couldn't be bothered with another complaint We had to tell the server twice what we were drinking on arrival and still one drink did not come as requested but couldn't be bothered to wait to have it changed I have to say they did take price of said child's meal off bill. We decided not to have desert and left still hungry and half the party are not even big eaters. Won't be returning No pictures as not worthy of pictures Dietary restrictions: Asked if chips were cooked in fish oil so obviously there was an allergy in the party but still a member of party was served fish instead of chicken. "oh wow what a nice place to meet and eat. the staff was so polite and friendly and they let them feel totally welcome. it had a burning fire that was a really welcome part of our visit. the eating was superb, fresh, hot and looked too nice to cook all the house aswell, which was a bonus to eat. they made 1 curs for £12, 2 courses for £14, 3 courses for £17 a really good deal well worth we were small doctors at this visit. we had the pate, the suppe of the day the mushrooms for beginners. I'm sorry no pictures have been taken quickly. for the net we had, the halibut, the forerib, the piece of the day. for the gloomy we had, red with cheesecake lemon cheesecake please give this beautiful place a call and book we felt totally comfortable and safe especially with the current circumstances"

"Don't be put off the unprepossessing location next to a Kebab Shop, this is the best food in Sandwich. None of your Brakes-supplied pre-prepared nonsense you find in most pubs these days. Everything appears to be cooked from fresh (I've seen the owner buying fish in the local fishmonger) you can watch the chef from the bar area.It's a small place and has a small but nice sunny garden at the back.A rather small selection of real ales (only but very well chosen and kept.Service was informal and helpful.My only criticism would be their website where the opening hours bear no relationship to the actual opening hours.My go-to place in Sandwich now, so much better than other more obvious and better positioned establishments."

"We eat here more than I should publicly admit....The food and service are always spectacular! The menu has something on it for everyone, we are still finding things we haven't tried and end up loving. The specials are a great compliment and always something scrummy if nothing on the menu quite fits the mood (which is rare! . We have also had many special occasions here and are continuously impressed and our guests always leave raving. Luigi, Julia and their team and so wonderful-you will never regret a meal here!"

"Five families, 21 of us in total were camping at Sandwich Technology College for the bank holiday weekend. We left it a bit late on the booking front but fortunately St Crispin Inn could accommodate us. We were so pleased they did, as it worked...out brilliantly. They were great as they had to jiggle the seating plan too, as we added two more people to our number late on. (thank you for your patience Jason We found a path, off the road, that took us to the pub in 20 minutes. St Crispin Inn had put us in our own room to the side, which I'm sure the other patrons were glad of! We were emailed the menus beforehand and had sent back our chosen mains. There was a great variety to pick from, including roasts, ribs, fish and chips and burgers. There were vegetarian options too, a vegetable tart roast and the halloumi burgers, which were delicious. All the food came out quickly and the presentation and portions were impressive. The service we had was fantastic, our large number didn't seem to phase them at all. I didn't get everyone's names but a big thanks to Liam! So to summarise, pretty location, very accommodating, brilliant friendly service and fantastic food. We couldn't have asked for more, we were very happy campers! Thank you!"
