"We were a party of six who booked in for a late Sunday lunch. I cannot fault the service at all. All the people who served us were very friendly and one lady had some fun cheeky banter. The people who had the roast pork enjoyed it but those of us on the roast beef found the meat...processed/pre carved and heated up by the kitchen maybe, certainly not carved fresh from a lovely big joint there and then. Equally there was something awry with the potatoes they were tasty but they weren't cooked in the traditional way. They weren't crispy possibly deep fried. My daughter enjoyed her nut roast. My gipsy tart was as I remembered it from school days."

Excellent restaurant. Good quality food, very tasty. The dairy free ice cream was lovely. The service was the best. Our waitress, Gemma, took great care to advise me because of my lactose intolerance. We will definitely return

Would definitely recommend. We were visiting my parents and wanted ‘our Christmas’ as we would not be with them Christmas Day. The staff, service and food were all excellent. We had a lovely evening and all enjoyed. Thanks to all concerned

it is a very nice place to eat is great and the service is always good, but at this opportunity we had to wait 45 minutes until our food arrives. I would recommend this place to eat, it was the first time that this had happened so that I would not stand out.

recommend the coach and the horses for everyone. eating is excellent, eating here a few times, I can honestly say I never had a bad meal. Sunday lunches are as close to a house cooked lunch as they can get. the staff is very nice and helpful, always welcoming.

We went for Sunday lunch with four children, that in itself can be a challenge. We were made to feel welcome, the children were given colouring sheets and pencils and the youngest was given duplo bricks; a high chair was brought to the table staff interacted with all the rugrats. Great service and food. We would highly recommend to all our friends.
