Beautiful and real atmosphere in this Osteria with a view of the docks that deserves the praise it has got. The service is real and up to earth, with a true triestino feeling. Great seafood and menu. Definitely worth a stop.

We would eat at this place every day. Everything is so good, fresh, tasty and healthy. Best sardoni impanati we ever had. Best pasta dishes: this time was homemade gnocchi with a delicious crabmeat sauce (trieste style). Super 100% no doubts Voir le carte

That was our favorite restaurant in Trieste, because the service was friendly and helpful (translates everything for us, with pleasure) and the food was delicious, local, but not very traditional, and the portions sufficient and quite expensive. The location is also nice, on the water line, sitting outside recommended.

So happy we did not read the reviews before we went. Our VRBO hosts recommended this place and we loved everything we had. We shared their fish plate appetizer, had a pasta and then the Branzino cooked in a salt crust. Delightful. We also respected the fact that they have a small but fine menu which to us indicates they serve everything fresh and don't keep a large inventory. The place is small, so it is good to make a reservation. Dinner service starts around 8 p.m. We watched lots of plates of Fritti misti pass us, when we return, that is what we will order.

We booked a table and arrived a little late due to a bike race along the rive and the traffic related to that. We see outside our table for two and have a sit, making a sign to the owner. When he comes out he tells us before letting us speak that it’s closed (it was 2 and they close at 2:30pm) and that we shouldn’t have sat. When we explain we had booked he calms down and ask about the drinks. When he’s back he keep whining about the ‘foreigners’ who want to sit outside and then move in when it starts raining. We say it’s reasonable to want to move if it rains and keeps whining at ‘foreigners’. After being welcomed with such attitude and rudeness against ‘foreigners’ we decided to have our l...
