Wonderfully authentic Osteria where the boss personally takes care of his guests. He patiently explains the dishes and makes recommendations that you can absolutely trust. Really DISAPPOINTED. DO NOT COME HERE to waste your time and appetite please. We waited 1 hour and 20 mins for the first pasta ragù dish. It’s the WORST pasta I’ve ever had. They have solid cheese at the bottom of the plate with a piece of boiled basil . The pasta is significantly over cooked and broken. I also saw them use microwave to heat up dishes the customers. The service is almost zero with cold altitude. Although the owner seems nice, he is obviously not able to handle high customer volume.

I think it is the perfect place that manages to welcome tourists but still maintain the spirit and taste of Neapolitan tradition; you can see it in the familiar but impeccable service and in the dishes that are SPECIAL, precious . Dishes that I still keep the flavor of true Neapolitan cuisine intact without having been Minimally affected by the commercialization and massification of cuisine (indeed). At Osteria Ippolito, also thanks to the location and the staff you feel at home even when you enter for the first time and this is just their business card... wait until you get to the aubergine parmigiana or the pasta and potatoes...
