"We came on a Thursday evening and thank goodness our hotel made reservations for us because it became packed (but only for outdoor seating). We saw several groups turned away because they did not have a reservation and were unwilling to sit indoors. (Not a huge deal to sit indoors since there is no view in the outdoor seating anyway). The center of town in Treiso has plenty of free public parking, which is right next to the restaurant so that was convenient. This restaurant is part of the slow food movement and sometimes the dishes took so long to come out that we thought that 's what the slow food movement meant! We did not order the set menu but the dinner still took 2.5 hours. That being said, the food was really delicious. We were particularly blown away by the tajarin pasta dish so definitely be sure to order this. We would be happy to return to this place for this dish alone. One tidbit of advice: bring bug repellent if you are sitting outside. I not only got eaten alive but so did all of the other restaurant patrons (at one point, I looked around and saw everyone scratching themselves)."

In the middle of nowhere, introduced by a friend while visiting Alba during the white truffles season. A small restaurant with very simple decoration. Surprisingly, all dishes were excellent (better than lots of star restaurant) and I highly recommended if you happened to be in Alba.

Lovely room lined with wine bottles. Wine list had good value. Tajarin with butter and sage, tongue with salsa verde were both stupendous, and came in small portions that allowed you to enjoy main courses (which were small too). Small menu of traditional Langhe dishes. Booking is mandatory. Relaxed, informal, with friendly service, though the staff were overstretched on the night we dined there.
