"Stumbled upon this restaurant after walking for ages. Being on the road it didn’t look too appealing as I really wanted to be by the sea but found the restaurants on the bay were all a bit touristy with huge menus. This fish restaurant was superb and the Prosecco delicious. A top tip if you order the Zuppe de Cozze (Mussel Soup) it isn’t a soup and it’s enough for two (see photos). It was one of the finest fish dishes I’ve ever eaten and believe me I’ve eaten a lot in many Michelin starred places. Loads of sweet mussels, clams, langoustine, king prawns, Octopus and Mediterranean ’winkles’ in a little beautifully flavoured broth. Just writing this makes me want to rush back there and have another portion. The problem was we ordered one each. So by the time our main course came we were too full to fully enjoy it. We saw some tables ordering 1 Soup for 4 people. Know you know don’t let it put you off as it is a treat. If you only eat one dish in Napoli make it this one."

Told the waitress several times if I could have a pasta with shrimp. She insisted the fish was better, and kept trying to shove her picks down my throat. At the end, she brought me tempura shrimp, no pasta and white wine, although I requested red because that is what went better with what she had picked out for me. Horrible service and bland food. I felt ignored, pressured and disrespected.

We drove to Napoli from Gaeta to celebrate our 7 year anniversary and stopped nearby to this restaurant. It was a fabulous lunch we had the chefs choice of got starters each one delicious I thoroughly enjoyed the Gamberoni and the Cod . We then chose the fish if the day which was simply served with verdure a la griglilla ... beautiful . Service great and complimentary tuna tastes and prosecco made the service first class . Thank you Voir le carte

This was the best meal we had from our three days stay in this area. We booked via trip advisor which provided us 20% discount. The restaurant is small with only few tables located a block from the sea promenade. The food was amazing. We chose couple of the tasting platters and then some pasta and fish. Everything was super delicious and fresh! The fish cost 5-6 eur per 100g which is a steal. Bottle of delicious wine for 35 eur. Amazing service. We loved our waighter. He was so funny and was treating our daughter as a princess. The total bill came to 105 eur excluding the discount! Amazing value for the feast we had. We would definitely come back if in Naples.

Absolute worst service I believe I have ever experienced anywhere on the planet! A waiter brought us someone else's order and we were none the wiser so began eating. Wasn't that great and we soon began wondering whether we had the right order. Next thing our waiter storms up to our table and literally starts yelling at us and insulting us for eating the wrong order. Irony is he admitted he saw the other waiter bringing us the wrong order but made no effort to inform us. Then to add insult to injury he wanted to charge us for both meals! I was absolutely flabbergasted that a waiter would treat his customers with such contempt. We were so disgusted we just paid the bill and left in a hurry. Wo...

"Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
