"Booked a table for 7pm this evening , arrived 20 minutes early but as we were the only customers this was no problem . Open House is a steak house burger Indian and Nepalese restaurant , an eclectic mix I’m guessing to satisfy the requirements of all their customers but the Nepalese Sherpa Curry, involving17 spices , is stunning . Really really tasty and extremely good value . The rice and naans all really good too. Prakesha, hope that’s spelt correctly front of house is a lovely bloke , friendly and helpful . Thoroughly recommend this place , we will be back ."

Had a fantastic meal this evening. Absolutely fantastic food, flavour and service. Mixed grill starter, followed by currys with naans. A hidden gem, which we spontaneously stumbled across on Google Maps. Some nice decor. We'll definately be returning. Thanks guys! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Was pleasantly surprised, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very well presented and delicious. I made a couple of changes to the food based on my own preference and nothing was too much to ask for. Was with a friend who is normally very fussy with food but he equally enjoyed it, would go again.

We visited Open House last night, and the service was exceptional and attentive. The staff were friendly, helpful, and generous. The food was outstanding, and the team truly went above and beyond in their service. Other customers seemed equally satisfied, with smiles all around! I highly recommend this place—it's the best restaurant in Brownhills! Voir le carte

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal. We dined in for dinner, and I found the prices to be reasonable, averaging around £20–30 per person. The food was outstanding, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was equally impressive, also rated a 5. I highly recommend trying the Dips and Poppadoms, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Rice!

I absolutely love the food here. It’s definitely a hidden gem! The steak is so good, it beats TGI Fridays or miller and carter, and it’s less than half the price. The service is always amazing too, they’re all lovely people and are always happy to see us. I would recommend it to anyone! Kid-friendliness: Don’t have kids so I never take kids, but I brought my niece and it was a lovely experience for her, she loved it. Service: Dine in

"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."
