Olley's Fish Experience

Chips are ok. Fish is waaaaaay to small for price. And mushy peas stick of eggs... so unable to eat them. Waste of money tbh

living abroad and stayed at parents in mortlake... had an enormous fish and chips for quid.... here it was smaller and quid..... that is one hell of a lot. or am I missing something

The chips are like chips I have never tasted before, the pickled onions have a really unique taste and the tartar sauce is my personal favourite just how do they make it??? The Salad is a simple dish but it really is something else. I...think Olleys makes Dulwich famous

Was really looking forward to this at times like this when we are all isolating, but fish was definitely left over from lunchtime, chewey batter not crisp and chips rather cold! Certainly not what it should be at this price, or what it used to...be like ! Come on Olly you can do better then this especially when you’ve got the market to yourself. we wanted a good fish and chips and we did a little research. some reviews good, others not so, but we thought for x-Cid and chips, it may not be bad, otherwise would be business out of business. as the actual thing at the place says that masks must be worn. they wore masks and such a plus. fish is good, but on the little side. definitiw must be greater at this price. too many chips. a part is good enough for people. so everything in all good, but on the expensive side, but there are too many bad deals around, so does the job.

last night (Friday night) after a long week at work I decided to treat myself to a fish and chips of olley’s, as I knew they had a good call in south london. another reason is that I ordered at a place...was delicious. last night was a real disappointment. the court came fast, but it was hot going cold. in his apology box was a cod, chips and a lonely lemon wedge. no mayo, tartaric acid and it was tasteless. all this for !!!! for this price you can order a beautiful main course in a posh restaurant or even courses with ambiente and service. I am not sure if this is to be done with the cook in this night, but there was no concern to make this dish.

do you want to feel demolished? eat here! we paid a lot of money for a meal for two, but the absolute kicker was this “key starter”, which for five of the smallest pieces of fried fish they have ever seen. a piece kalamari!. introduce yourself to be served in a restaurant. I raised the question and this is obviously the correct portion size. I think it's totally unreliable to calculate so much. the fish was good, but nothing spectacular. I guess if they are gluten-free, they seem to have a lot of options, but be willing to pay for it. make them please and take a takeaway from Ken’s fish bar on half moon lane. there is a reason why it is rated much higher.
