"If you are a peregrino and have spent 30 to 40 days on the trail, as you round into the home stretch for Fisterra you are most likely desperately looking for a place that doesn 't serve standard pilgrim food. I believe that God invented Bar O Coton exactly for this purpose to save pilgrims who might otherwise want to fling themselves off a cliff rather than face down another Menu del Dia. Bar O Cotton is nothing short of a miracle. It unassumingly sits just off the Camino in the middle of Negreira. The guy who waited on us couldn 't have been nicer. The menu has potstickers, wraps and tacos on it! Good Lord we were so shocked we ordered all of them as well as a simple burger. Also got the deluxe salad that came with nuts and grilled queso de cabra. If I was back in the US maybe I would be dialing back my enthusiasm a tad but not here. Every item was great. Well, the burger did come out way under cooked. I told the waiter and expected some push back. But, nothing except an apology and then a new burger. Then the cook came out to apologize! Geez. Yes, I 'd come back here tomorrow except that we do want to get to Fisterra. Hands down recommendation go to this place. It is comfort food spelled USA."

After 40 days of mainly restaurants serving the same menu del dia selections, Bar O Coton in Negeira offers a fresh menu. Nachos, tacos, gyoza (potstickers), lentil burgers, innovative salads, all we tried was great. Definitely recommend stopping here!

spacious, well-conditioned, clean place. with terrace, although the afternoon was cold and we prefer to have something inside. They have variety, with a quick preparation style. We ordered raxo, generous and tasty ration, with potatoes at their point and a deboneed rib sandwich that was really spectacular. the super-efficient and very friendly waitress.
