Ate twice here on a recent holiday to the Xaló area. Lovely outdoor seating are with views of the mountains. Dinner was excellent value three courses of delicious food, thoughtfully presented, with wine or soft drink included in the set menu. Service is very warm and friendly. Recommended!

We were on route going home and spotted this place at 1530 for a quick snack and drink. The kitchen closed at 1600 so nothing funny than. Asked for patatas huevo grotto, Fries with egg and Spanish ham. No can do. Ok, stick to the menu then. The main staple seems to be sweet balsamico. Found that on a lot. Portions medium sized for the prize. Not bad but not brilliant. I would drive to the next restaurant next time to try that out, having experienced this. A family gathering at this well-established restaurant. There was not an empty plate in sight. The sepia was the best I’ve had for a very long time. Goats cheese salad flavours and textures were fab. Others had the lamb, salmon and duck and all were extremely happy. The service was friendly and well-timed and the atmosphere relaxed. We all really enjoyed the evening. After many years eating in this restaurant I am sad to write this post. Because of its usual high standards we chose to spend our Wedding Anniversary there 38 years! Sadly our experience ruined our evening. Being a fish lover I ordered Dorada, it was so over cooked I could have picked it up off the plate and beaten someone with it. Waiter came and asked if all was good with the meal and I said sadly no, its not up to your usual standard. He shook his shoulders turned his back...that was that. We asked for bill and we were charged full price for a meal I did not eat with a glass of Cava.
