Great seafood takeaway for lunch sitting in the sunand back for an ice cream later! Such a character too!

We sat at an outside table and had a wonderful soup with a cup of tea. The inside tables looked nice too. Worth a visit.

a fabulous place with fabulous employees. the personal is welcoming and beautiful. we were really good looking, and it was really busy gluten free lemon drizzle was absolutely delicious, I had to double check it was gluten-free!

we shared a fish plate and enjoyed our light lunch very much. the service was relaxed and friendly and the place was very popular in a quiet Tuesday afternoon. the same place opens in the evening as restaurant with a mouth-water menu.

I ordered a slice of Red Velvet cake and a pot of green tea as a rest on a bike ride and they were absolutely wonderful. The teapot had a pretty hand made tea cozy on like the name suggests. I had the friendliest wait staff I've ever met. 20/10, definitely recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Alnmouth. It's definitely going on my regular list.

we visited a very cool, windy day. Nice to know that there is a nice warm and friendly place to dip into a nice warm eating. the panini was very fresh, hot and tasty. the fresh salad was a pleasant surprise fresh with a beautiful dressing. an apple crumb has filled a good meal! my wife had Mac cheese (very hot) and a scones for dessert. very well done!

We visited Alnmouth today and this place was top on our list of potential lunch spots, we were not disappointed! The fresh crab cake and fries were absolutely delicious and the special crab bun was a big hit! The owner was very friendly, service was great, all food was freshly prepared. So good we returned for ice cream for pudding! Highly recommend this little spot on a trip to Alnmouth

The menu over-claimed and so we were sorely disappointed. We ordered the bun “full to the gunwales” with lobster prawn and with mayonnaise. It was full but only of mayonnaise and an OK amount of prawn, but the tiniest slither of lobster. Couldn’t taste anything other than the mayo. Chucked it away sadly. Pity as the people were lovely and other reviews were great. Maybe it was impacted by the pandemic’s challenges.

We had a fantastic takeaway meal from here, each of us choosing one of the four main options crab cakes with a pot of smooth guacamole and skin on sweet potato fries, sea bass with greens, burger with all the trimmings and a chicken wrap. Cooked fresh to order, just long enough for a play on the swings in the park whilst we waited. Returned to the park to one of the picnic tables to eat dinner with a view in the sunshine! All came boxed in eco friendly packaging with wooden cutlery little paper pots of sauce as standard. Food was delicious, great flavours and super fresh. Really friendly welcome here and would recommend to anyone.
