"Popped in on the off chance yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. From the minute we arrived, we were greeted at the door with a smile and great selection of drinks to choose from. After looking at the menu and specials board, we decided to eat, my wife is celiac so can be limited in most local pub due to kitchen size, however once again, faultless on there behalf, even down to the bread being generally good gluten free bread. The food was spectacular With lots of flavour and even options for gluten free sponge pudding and custard I had a 3 meet burger and triple cooked chips and it was all perfect. I can say from top to bottom- a great experience! Thanks to the Staff and all involved. It’s definitely worth a visit and a lovely walk through the woods from Kings Hill."

I had a fabulous experience on the North Pole. I come over the years, but not very common. the bar staff/waiting staff are super friendly and welcoming. I and my friend visited on Friday night and could not mistake it. the food was fresh and tasty and the service was even better. I wish I remember the names of the beautiful lady who serves us, and they can tell this job support about the greeting of new customers. would be highly recommended.

I had a fabulous experience at the North pole. I've been coming over the years but not very frequently. The bar staff/ waiting staff are super friendly and welcoming. Me and my boyfriend visited on Friday night and could not fault it. The food was fresh and delicious and the service even better. I wish I remembered the name of the lovely lady who serves us. You can tell this establishment care about welcoming new customers. Would highly recommend.

beautiful old pub. my friend and I were in our vacation (left the men at home! and the landlord/arm made us so welcome that we were going back 3 nights! the food is cooked at home and delicious. great atmosphere and the locals were friendly and very friendly for us. We also need to know their dogs that were so nice. we discovered through the conversation with the dame behind the bar, in our last night that her daughter lives only about 11 miles from us, back to suffolk. small world! we will soon be back to a point for more great service, eat, business and laugh! thank you all. x

Lovely old pub. My friend and I were on our holiday (left the men at home and the Landlady/Staff made us feel so welcome that we went back 3 nights running! The food is home cooked and delicious. Great atmosphere and the locals were kind and very friendly to us as well. We got to know their dogs also which was so nice. We discovered through chatting to the lady behind the bar, on our last night, that her daughter lives only about 11 miles from us, back in Suffolk. Small world! We will be returning at some point soon for more great service, food, company and much laughing! Thank you to you all. X
