"Nil is in the ultra hip St. Pauli neighborhood of Hamburg. It’s only about a half hour walk from the more establishment central core but, feels like another planet. Terrific small, independent shops and makers many of whom are making their goods on premise. Don’t...let the enormous amount of graffiti in the the area put you off, as the shopkeepers are all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is quite popular, with lots of energy. Food selection is varied with lots of meat and some fish as well. Vegetables are very well prepared and the mixed salad is particularly delicious. If your ordering the pork chop you should have a very good appetite as the portion size is surprisingly generous. It would be easy to share, allowing you to try a number of other menu items. Great place for dinner if your exploring the area. Reservations might be a good idea."

we went with friends from the city to nil. we quickly understood why this place was popular there! the atmosphere here is very beautiful and relaxed. the staff is nice and helpful. eating is of very good quality, with fresh products. I can. definitiw recommend to give the menu an attempt: this helps them to choose between the delicious meals suggested! a place I will remember definitiw!

eating was great, the staff was very friendly, would have given them 5/5 if it was not for the great delay between the curses. three of us went to the 5 course set menu, which was great, but we had to wait a long time between the curses. The...other family member chose a starter and a main course and had to wait until our main course was delivered! good wine selection also recommended when they have the time to enjoy them meal (under two hours!

We had a five course Schlemmer menü at the restaurant for an evening meal, and we were serwed five health servings to feed a hungry coal miner. The food in itself was in our opinionn nothing particular it was good and well prepared, however without...any surprises or anything out of the ordinary (except for the very bitter chokolate mousse for dessert) Service was efficient our servings were delivered with a medium pace (we were never asked how it sited us), however the waitress was more or less absent apart from then. Not bad just not good either. Price was reasonable and average. So all in all an OK meal, however nothing more
