"Appalling experience this evening. Rang a telephone order through, partner went to collect, was told that the order waiting on the counter wasn't ours, so queued for 10 minutes and was eventually told the order was ours (now lukewarm at best). Add to that we had asked for the peas to be put in pots which was done on one meal but not the other, resulting in a soggy haddock, pea, chip and paper slop. The meals and service were disgusting, £20 approximately and most went in the bin. Shout out to the poor young lady assistant who couldn't apologise enough and was left to take the flack. Like to support local businesses but will stick to George's from now on."

Ordered pie and chips and have to say chips were very very greasy and not enjoyable. Shame really as it used to be such a good chip shop.

last night from here ordered over ubereats. large fresh and piping hot eating, good portion sizes also. will definitely return. who knows that deep-fried erzeos could be so good!

Superb lunchtime treat from all day specials! Fish was cooked perfectly, portion sizes perfect and very friendly staff. Covid practice fantastic, felt very safe whilst collecting food. Would highly recommend!

This is a great chippy. It has a an excellent hygiene rating. The staff are very friendly as well and treat you like their own family. Please try the donor wrap and their burgers. Salad is always fresh, top class chippy please support your local Stabbo businesses. Voir le carte

visit us manor once in the month for fat free days at work, I order large donators meat, chips and salat (mint yoghurt) my colleagues order a large chips, x2 curry sauce x2 shattered. get them there for about 12 o'clock so that the dame that serves me is always polite and helpful comes about £13.80, which is really good in considering the prices have skyeted recently. cuts are good chips are always in order, doner meat is not the largest but on a fat day off work would not complain from working time so recommended if in the opposite.

Decided to treat my husband and daughter to a kebab so called in about 7pm last night friday 20th June only 1 person in so not busy. I ordered 2 chicken tikka and donar mix on pitta and 1 plane donar on a pitta. When I got home to Long Eaton and opened the food 2 kebabs were donar meat only and no chicken tikka! I don't understand how this was wrong as the lady behind the counter wrote the order down! Very disappointed as the food is always lovely and id like to get what ive paid for at a cost of £26 buying food out is very expensive for 3 kebabs. won't be going back for a while.
