Great coffee and cake! This lovely village shop/cafe has post office, cafe and store supplies. Friendly locals run the shop and help look after the community. Great place to pop into for lunch or a break. Highly recommend.

Best Village Shop I have been to Visited 3 times on cycles always welcomed by friendly dog(s), staff and even somehow fellow customers. Toasties are amazing and has good selection including pick a mix style sweets World away from grumpy Town shops

I have visited many restaurants, but this has to be one of the friendliest establishments I have ever been to. The quality of the fruit and vegetables here is outstanding, and I love that they support local suppliers. I highly recommend this place.

We were in search of a family-friendly and dog-friendly café for breakfast after camping. We were fortunate to discover this hidden gem. Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast, received a warm welcome, and experienced no unnecessary issues. Highly recommend!

The post office was not open as advertised. When I visited the previous week, I was told it was "Not open today." The following week, I was informed that it is "not open on Sundays at all," despite the post office site advertising that it is open on Sundays from 9:00 to 12:00.

friendly, helpful staff, beautiful atmosphere. the shop holds a wide range of items, from everyday needs to gifts, greeting cards and things that they just do not expect to find, but could only be what they need with the additional bonus of post office. the café area is cozy, the menu is varied, eating well cooked and beautifully presented, ideal for breakfast, lunch or just a quick coffee. highly recommended.

It took me many years to discover a truly fantastic village store. Yes, they may be slightly more expensive than the supermarket, but when you consider the financial and environmental benefits of supporting local businesses, it is worth it. In addition to being a post office, they also offer fresh baked bread, pastries, sweets, and pre-made or customizable sandwiches. The selection is impressive and all natural. Plus, they have an incredible coffee machine that rivals those at Costa. Their café has a extensive menu where you can relax and enjoy your meal indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). I have no Idea what the previous reviewer (Olly) is talking about ... the staff or should I say 'stuff ' as he did, are never rude, I have been there when their delivery has been a bit late and they gave me something extra free in place of the thing they didn 't have or did you forget to mention that?? The fact that it is a dog friendly cafe is a real plus when you live in the countryside and I often pop in for a cuppa or a bite to eat after my walk. however if there is ever anyone who doesn 't like dogs the owners always move the dogs away.
