An afternoon snack cakes hot drinks and a wonderful sausage, guyere and onion sandwich. A busy wee cafe, no wonder says us!

I love this place. I had the best ever bap with egg and bacon, the coffee is terrific and the staff delightful. What more could one ask?

My wife and I have visited this restaurant several times, but we only recently discovered the seating area at the back. We decided to stop in for lunch and both chose the soup, which was delicious. The staff were all polite and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. Whether you're in Aldeburgh looking for a hot meal or just coffee and a cake, this restaurant is a great choice.

Wonderful lunch with tasty jacket potatoes and toppings of bolognaise vegan chilli, with breakfast tea and a latte. All food and drinks were excellent, with generous servings. The staff were all friendly, polite and super helpful. We were with our dog who was welcomed too. (I am bemused at some reviews on here. The prices are extremely reasonable, the food is really good, all obviously home made and everyone around us was also clearly enjoying their visit. Thank you Munchies.

Munchies continues to be the hub of the community, a breath of fresh air with vibrant, helpful staff and down to earth food with excellent service. It has a great system that works for dining in and take aways. Even on New Years Day which was packed inside and out we all got served with the same smiles and enthusiasm. People love to meet together outside to catch up and share local stories and upcoming events on the famous Munchies pavement. This place is a disgrace in the way it deals with its customers Went here on a busy day and thought the queue was short so went in to order 2 takeaway teas. They took my money and I was then sent out to wait on the pavement outside together with a large amount of people blocking the pavement waiting for their drinks. A 20 minute wait in the cold outside is not my way of spending a New Year's Day!! Strikes me as a very cunning way of getting as much trade as possible Teas turned up luke warm!! A very poor experience I will not repeat in a hurry.

Susie and her team always make us feel welcome, and today was no different. We were greeted with a smile and enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate outside on a crisp January day. The hot drinks and homemade food at Munchies are made with love by Susie Medland, and the cozy atmosphere of the café makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a wide variety of reasonably priced options for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and homemade pastries and cakes. We love sitting outside, no matter the weather, and watching the world go by in this beautiful seaside...

Susie is a pillar of the community and deeply cares about Aldeburgh and its residents. During lockdown, she operated a 'Meals on Wheels' service for the elderly, vulnerable, and isolated, ensuring they were fed and had some sort of interaction. She even sacrificed her own Christmas to deliver hot lunches to those in need. In addition to her charitable work, Susie also operates a litter picking scheme and continually looks for new ways to innovate, such as offering 'Click and Collect' takeaway, picnic boxes in the summer, and Munchies Ready Meals.
