Mrs F's Fine Food Emporium

Fantastic place, mad as a box of frogs. Very quirky with delicious homemade food and freshly squeezed apple juice. Highly recommend.

Amazing gluten free scones, both fruit and cheese. GF bread as well for sandwich or with their homemade soups. Fantastic gf cakes too.

This place is a hoot, owner is lovely and the scones, cakes etc are excellent. Decent pot of tea. Interesting, eclectic surroundings. Genuinely dog friendly. Worth a visit.

2 weeks ago we went to Mrs F and we loved the relaxed atmosphere. Simone is a wonderful host. We had a nice talk together and we enjoyed the best scone we have ever eaten . Thank you , Simone, hope to see you again.

Although a previous review said this cafe has GF bread, thats no longer the case. I visited today and they had really nice GF homemade soup as well as GF cakes but no other GF meals and no GF bread. Quirky place with lovely owner but not great for GF.

If you find yourself in Cumbria don’t leave without visiting Mrs F’s. Keswick’s one and only food emporium is unlike any coffee shop you may have visited before. You won’t find fancy food and pretentious drinks but you will find a truly warm welcome, a selection of homemade, wholesome and sole warming food and hot drinks served with infectious joy. Going to Mrs F’s is like visiting your favourite, slightly mad, eclectic auntie. My soaking wet German Shepard Dog was welcome and I left happy with a full belly.

Stopped off in Mrs F’s cafe in Keswick today. Absolutely brilliant. If you are looking for a good cup of tea or coffee and exceptional cake and food then this is the place to go. The cafe is a quirky mix of mismatched furniture that makes you feel that you are in someone’s living room. The welcome you get from Simone is second to none and the energy and atmosphere is warm and comforting. The banter you get from Simone and the other customers will have you in stitches! All in all, it’s more than a cafe, it’s an experience that you simply must have. We will be back! Voir le carte
