we had delicious food and wonderful cocktails. freshly made and very tasty, staff was very friendly and served quickly. it's a nice place to have Japanese food. I can highly recommend this place.

the salmon sawimi is great. the hamachi not so much. better sit at the bar to see that the tellers happen before the look...sometimes a bit too long, beyond the really fresh look. Okay, but not exceptional. Voir le carte

The Food ist just average, for a wanna-be sushi place certainly low quality. May be the Kaiten-zushi is fun, but the rest...? Too much spicy sauce, the fish of the nigiri hard to distinguish and the rice not sushi quality. The green tea was allright...

When I'm back at home in Berlin I always force my dad to go with me (not that he would need to be persuaded.. Always freshly prepared. Love the nigiri salads they do with this really nice and fresh dressing! Definitely not the cheapest place....Staff usually not the fastest but always polite.

As any other good sushi bar in Europe, this has ridiculously high prices for normal sets, but quality has a price after all. No English menu included, thus I recommend to come with a German friend, or with someone who knows Japanese fish names. The...bar offers tables outside as well, but the service is very bad. 5.50€ for a 75cl bottle of still water is a robbery, and beware of apocalyptic bees outside, willing to eat your fish as it reaches your table. You better like salad dressing if you eat here. It is omnipresent and since the fish here has no taste, everything tastes of salad dressing and soya sauce. Other than salad dressing, that was industrial spicy sauce that killed any possible taste as welk. I...don't understand why they bother to call themselves a Japanese restaurant. Every dish was a non-descript something wrapped in rice apart from the geriatric looking sashimi on the carrousel that looked as though they've been going around for as long as mankind existed.

many different types of sushi to choose. also sushi runs. good quality sushi and very kreatiw. also creative sushi on the running sushi conveyor belt. the prices are a little high. but not much. the rooms/tables could be an extra wet dish...dress (the table was a little too sticky), and waiter could be a bit more present to the guests (instead of speaking in a group of waiters behind the counter) and the menu should also be open in English and the running sushi plates should not be open (hygiene reasons). Was taken to Mr Hai by a friend who raved about the place. It was pretty full, which is usually a good sign, and I was hopeful about a great dinner, having read the reviews here. Sadly it was a giant let down. To start...with, the restaurant lacked any sort of atmosphere, and the staff seemed miserable and were inattentive. In terms of value for money, there is none: it is unbelievably overpriced. We had a water each and 8-9 plates from the belt between us and the bill came to 80 euro. For that, the food is average at best. Avoid this restaurant if you are a fan of Japanese cuisine – the food served here is Japanese only in homeopathic doses.
