Had some OK food. Pros: + Cheap + OK taste + Friendly people Cons: - Waiting too long for food - German style schnitzel Italian

Each time when I come to Hannover I will go eat here. Not to expensive and very good quality. We always let the waiter make a selection for us. Never disappointed

Ich war heute das erste Mal zum Mittagstisch im „Monte Collo“ Restaurant und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich habe gleich einen Tisch für mein TeamEvent reserviert

This restaurant was recommended by my hotel as they did not have evening dinner service. Monte Collo was a great choice. Great Italian fare, with attentive service and fair pricing. The location is a little tricky to find; as it's sign faces away from the main road, but once found; worth the effort. It has a very welcoming vibe; and relaxing as well. It was all good here.

Leckere Pizza bei tollem Ambiente Wir waren dort mit einer größeren Gruppe zum Abendessen und es war ein schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen und Getränken. Von Pizza, Pasta, Schnitzel mit Spargel oder Nachtisch war alles dabei und sehr lecker. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr nett und gut. Wir bekamen alle unser Essen fast zeitgleich (ist bei 20 Personen schon eher schwierig). Gerne wieder!

Mega!! Waren mittags auf der Suche nach einer Kleinigkeit zum Essen und sind dabei auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Wir haben uns etwas von der Mittagskarte ausgesucht, Suppe,Pizza und zum Abschluss nen Espresso. Alles wurde zügig serviert, war außerordentlich lecker und zum sehr guten Preis. Alles in allem ein schönes Restaurant, leckeres Essen und zuvorkommendes Personal. Und alles zum guten Preis!! Sehr empfehlenswert!!

We stopped in while looking for a pizza to take back to the hotel. Our Navi showed mostly Pizza Huts when searching for pizza. Switching to 'Italian' the Navi sent us here. Without a Navigation system you'll never find it tucked between office buildings.We tried two different pizzas and they were both great, thin crust, good toppings and the manager told us he would make whatever we liked. The lady bartender served us our beers while we waited and 7 minutes later our pizzas were ready. All seats other than the bar were taken indicating the local popularity.

This nice little restaurant is warm and friendly with good food. The prices are inexpensive, especially if you order the smaller servings, which are typically large enough for one if you do not have a big appetite. The smaller servings were about 2/3 the size of the regular size and were priced 2 to 3 Euros less per plate, say 6.50 to 7.50. Beer and wine were less than you would expect at such a nice restaurant. We had children along for an early dinner, and the children had their own menu which was less than the smaller portions in size and cheaper in price. Overall, a very nice experience.

Went there with my parent which come here quite frequently. Monte Collo is not an Italian restaurant as the name may suggest though serving some pasta dishes. Servings are gigantic and at least for my choices (Porcini cream soup and Spaghetti Amatriciana) a bit disappointing (soup was pure cream and the Amatriciana: using bacon instead of pancetta or guanciale, pasta overcooked and cheese (parmesan not pecorino - though the cheese was fresh) only served after asking.Having said that, my company was pretty happy with their food (also big servings) and the restaurant also continues to draw many customers from the neighborhood.Prices are very low - some of the dishes are offered as "half" servi...
