First class Italians restaurant, great food, great host. If you are in the area you need to come here. They will do anything for you including spicing up my dinner. Salmon was fantastic, sea bass was lovely so the wife says.

Ordered a pizza to be told,that you have to order before 3pm in the afternoon!!!.Dough is made fresh apparently..No statement on the menu to back this up..!! How do I know what i want 4 hours beforehand?? Chose lasagne,microwave sounds coming from the kitchen.. Stodgy,...

Just collected a sea bass meal and fillet of steak meal.The quality of both meals was absolutely fantastic.Presented in takeaway trays to an amazing standard. I absolutely love the food, the owners are so thoughtful, funny and very welcoming. It is the second time I have been there and the food both times was amazing but I do recommend the sea bass it is succulent and the only meal I have cleared my plate in about 6 month the sauce is beautiful

Sad reflection that what purports to be a genuine Italian restaurant does not live up to its image. Although pleasant polite service the food on this occasion was mediocre at best, no italian music to help you relax to instead just modern music blaring out, expected a more atmospheric experience especially for the price, will really think twice before contemplating dining here again. Disappointing evening out 5/10.

My partner and I came here for Valentine’s Day and we had a great time. We both had starters and a main with two sides. The food was amazing. I had a starter of fresh tomato soup and a main of linguine carbonara. My partner had prawn salad and a main of linguine de mare. With sides of garlic bread and fries. We definitely want to come back and try other items on the menu. I’ve already recommended Montanaros to our families. We look forward to coming back. Voir le carte

I was finally able to take my mother for her birthday lunch planned for March 2020 and cancelled thanks to covid. The owner chef had a large party on the evening so wasn’t going to open for lunch. They did however just for my mom so she could enjoy her long awaited birthday Italian meal! Food and service wonderful as always and as I was too full they kindly boxes up the leftovers so it did me for my evening meal too! Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait for the next meal!

Me and my Nick went to Montanaro's on Friday evening for the first time. I can tell you, we will be back! The food was outstanding. To start, we had the garlic mushrooms and chilli prawns, followed by Linguine da mer and pollo alla cremo. Lina, the restaurant owner, certainly knows how to cook! Wow! Those flavours!!! This restaurant truly is a little gem. Emma, the waitress is simply joyous! We absolutely loved it and can't wait to revisit. Thank you so much, Lina. You should be so proud of your amazing little restaurant

Not visited for quite a while! No specials! The most disappointing thing was the lack of choice my husband ordered filet dolcellate, but was told no fillet only sirloin (still got charged for fillet though), only frozen chips salad available (not roast veg as advertised) We also heard the waiter saying that my husband had just had the last steak! As for the waiter, a little bit scruffy, shorts trainers to serve food very unprofessional! got fed up of waiter apologising calling me Miss (first time is fine, but after 1/2 dozen times it’s a bit jarring!
