"My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate my recovery from a heart attack in October. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were not told that the full menu was unavailable and that the MIXX Restaurant was closed. We were only given about five choices as the MIXX Restaurant was only open for Christmas parties. We were seated in a large, cold room with only four other diners present, clearly not the MIXX Restaurant that I thought I had booked. Despite wanting to leave, we decided to stay as other options were limited. The tables lacked wine glasses, tablecloths, and any other decorations, and our waiter seemed eager to leave to attend to the busier area with the partygoers. By the time we finished our starter course, we were the only two people left in the room. We booked for 7:30 pm and had finished our two courses by 8:20 pm. Overall, it was definitely an evening to forget."

absolutely fantastic meal, so delicious and full of taste. the best I had for a long time, despite eating in many reputable restaurants. highly recommended and cannot wait to go back!

The menu sounded fantastic, however when the food arrived it just didn't deliver. The butternut squash risotto was stodgy and too salty to eat. All the 4 dishes that we ordered were not as nice as we had envisaged.

I and my girfrriend went here for Valentine's Day and how did all the employees superb, as my friend has a nut allergy the cheifs calated the food she wanted with them, my overall rating would be 10/10 very nice people and very good out Voir le carte

I was staying at the Marriott Hotel with my family during a weekend break and booked up the MIXX for diner. The food was nice as I expected and the service was helpful and friendly. It's a good and convenient restaurant to go especially if you are staying at the Marriott.

Mixx restaurant, Marriott Hotel, Leicester. Went with my fiancee for a Valentine's evening meal. When seated we were given bread with butter and balsamic vinegar, very nice. I had a goats cheese salad to start which was delicious, my fiancee had roast plum tomato soup which was the best tomato soup we've ever tasted. I had lamb for main which was cooked perfectly. My fiancee had seabass which was delicate and tasty. We were too full for dessert! Fantastic place, great service, recommended!
